The fog was growing more and more denser when Major Mint pulled at the reins, causing Marzipan to stop with a whinny, "Weather's getting worse, I say...we turn about." Marzipan nickered at that. "Wait!" Said (Y/N). However, the Major was not having it, his voice stern as he glared at her icily, "It is far too dangerous. There has been absolutely no sign of this...this mysterious island! Not to mention: what is going to happen when the ice begins to melt?" (Y/N) argued fruitlessly, "Marzipan saw something. I am sure of it."

Said horse whinnied and the Nutcracker trailed behind (Y/N) as she started through the thick layers of fog. Sure enough, once they were near reaching the opposing side, it began to clear in slow-paced intervals, revealing the island of the Sugar Plum Princess. Candies and chocolates of all sorts covered most of the grounds, wild animals and woodland creatures strolled about and a river flowed far in the distance between beds of stone, moss and lustre. They left Marzipan to graze at the long planes of the green grass, whilst Major Mint came up with a plan, it was quite simple really...ehem, he commanded, "No time to enjoy scenery! Let us find the Sugar Pie Princess!"

Captain Candy cut him short, "I believe that the Nutcracker has earned the right to lead us."

Major stuttered and stumbled over his own tongue, "B-but...but, but...he is - wood!"

"Contrary to the mere fact, he is also the reason we made it this far."

The Nutcracker did not looked fazed really, because he had turned his head to gaze at (Y/N) with soft blue eyes as he motioned to her closed-off general form in the corner, "I'm only half the reason." He waved a hand for her to follow his lead, as they, along with a jovial Captain Candy traveled further into the inland. Major Mint watched the trio walk by incredulously, "Handing the reins to a...a blasted stump!? I have never heard of such a ridiculous thing!" Everyone ignored him. Nevertheless, he trailed behind them. They trekked a few miles more, before stumbling across a gorgeous pink bricked gothic style castle that towered for miles and miles across a flowery meadow of tulips, daisies, roses, lavender, lilies and dandelions.

Nutcracker paused with a frown on his wooden features when (Y/N) suddenly stopped short from behind him, suddenly having frozen in place. She fiddled with the golden heart locket resting on her chest. "Are you coming?" He questioned softly, seeing her wavering form move in a spring as she spluttered with widened eyes, "Oh...um, yes..." He, Major Mint and Captain Candy went on ahead as she signed, hanging behind, stuck in her own head. They approached the castle and the doors opened automatically. When they walked inside, however, they noticed no furniture or princess, quickly realising that it was a ruse from the very beginning. A fake. A trap.

A metal cage fell unto the men, carried by bats, Pimm giggled ruthlessly from high in the clouds, "Adequate job, mates! Off to the palace!"

"No!"

Pimm watched as the three men got carried away, before turning his tiny head around, puzzled. He gasped, "Wait a damn minute! Where's the girl?!" He leered around looking for her, but (Y/N) was no where to be seen. "Don't matter," he mumbled to himself as he took off once more, "no way off this island...!" He cackled recklessly, "...unless she is part Mermaid." Pimm flew off to the Mouse King's palace.

(Y/N) had long returned to shore, having noticed most of the ice had melted away, stranding her, as well as Marzipan. She sat down with a plomp on the moist sea sand, dejected and sad...and just - lonely. A single tear slid down her cheek and she hastily wiped at it with the back of pajama sleeve, "I should have never come. What on earth was I thinking?" She shook her head over and over, "That I was going to find some magical princess?" She fiddled with the locket around her neck with her fingertips in angst. "I could always return home...I'm sure that I have some doll clothes that would fit..."
