"Why do you always have to interfere in others' business?" Jungkook asked, his irritation growing.
"For your information, Jungkook, your Jin hyung told me about his business, so I have every right to interfere," Taehyung replied, his anger rising.
Jin rubbed the bridge of his nose, frustrated by the argument between the two. He regretted sharing his idea with them. "That's enough," he muttered, but his words went unheard.
"It's between me and Jin hyung, so you have no right to speak," Jungkook said, standing face-to-face with Taehyung.
Taehyung stood up, his eyes blazing with anger, and grabbed Jungkook's collar. "I have every right to speak on Jin's behalf," he gritted his teeth.
Jungkook smirked, but before he could respond, Jin intervened, pushing them apart. "I TOLD YOU BOTH TO STOP RIGHT!" he shouted.
"I'm going to Tokyo alone," Jin stated, sighing.
"No!" Jungkook and Taehyung exclaimed in unison, before glaring at each other.
Jin sensed the tension and repeated, his voice colder this time, "I told you both to stop."
With that, he turned and walked to his room, followed by Taehyung, who gave Jungkook a final glare.
Inside Jin's bedroom
"Jin, sorry," Taehyung said, following Jin around like a lost puppy. Jin, however, ignored him and continued packing his things.
"Jin, please, I'm sorry," Taehyung persisted. "I didn't mean to behave like that, but you noticed, didn't you, who was poking his nose in every time?"
Jin glared at Taehyung, his expression unyielding. "Fine, it was my fault too," Taehyung conceded.
"I thought I had the right to speak on your behalf," Taehyung added. Jin didn't respond to this comment. Instead, he said, "Go pack your things if you want to come with me."
Taehyung's eyes lit up with joy, and he rushed out, exclaiming, "I'll be back in a flash, like an express train!" Jin chuckled, amused by Taehyung's childish behavior.
At TokyoTaehyung sulked throughout the entire journey. He had wanted to accompany Jin alone, but that muscle bunny, Jeon Jungkook had insisted on joining them.
As they walked through the hospital corridor, Jungkook led the way, talking on his phone with Jimin. When they arrived at Namjoon's cabin, a nurse emerged and told them they could visit in five minutes.
Taehyung and Jin sat down on the chairs provided, while Jungkook walked to the other side of the hall, still on his phone. Jin noticed Taehyung's unusual silence and nudged his shoulder. "What's wrong? Why so quiet?"
Taehyung shook his head and mumbled, "Nothing." Jin understood why Taehyung was upset, so he rested his head on Taehyung's shoulder, holding his hand and rubbing his knuckles with his thumb.
"I didn't want to bring Jungkook along, but he was worried about me," Jin explained. "He didn't want to leave me alone, and that's why he came here, even leaving Jimin behind. Besides, he missed Namjoon hyung a lot, as you saw how broken he was when he told me the news."
Jin lifted his head to look at Taehyung, and their eyes met. Taehyung's gaze drifted to Jin's lips, and Jin felt an inexplicable urge to lean in. Their hands intertwined, and they forgot about their surroundings.
Just as their lips were about to touch, someone cleared their throat, and a familiar voice said, "Did you guys forget that you're in a hospital and not a park?" Jin and Taehyung instantly opened their eyes to see Hoseok standing before them, his gaze fixed on their intertwined fingers.
