(Y/N) is the one and only Spider-Man in his universe. Fell in love with his MJ, and it was a mistake to say the least. His uncle Ben had passed away and lives in a apartment with his aunt May! She soon passed also but had to balance a job and being Spider-Man, the moment Miguel found an anomaly in his universe he recruited you. With work and keeping New York safe was really draining him, and Miguel knew this. Miguel tried to let you down slowly and try to make you quite, but that didn't work.
Three after the tragic incident when Miguel's daughter passed away, he was mourning and never dared to leave the office and didn't eat.
You of course wanted to help so you kept by his side no matter how tired you were or how mad he was. And one day, you were sitting by Miguel while he was standing and rewatching clips of him and his daughter. You slouched and held his hand, and the clip immediately ended when the three Spider-teens walked in, them being Gwen, Pavitr, and Hobie. They mainly came in to bother Miguel to lure him out of his office, which they failed poorly many times.
This day, the three of them came over and created small talk. Miguel was less responsive but still listened and occasionally nodded. I got up and tried to get Miguel to speak but never worked..

YOUR POV
As I stood back up, my hands still tangled into Miguel's. I talked to the other three spider people, as the conversation went on you looked back at Miguel who looked absolutely exhausted and just ready to pass out. Not wanting to point it out, I polity told Gwen, Pav, and Hobie if they could talk next time because Miguel and I had something to do. As they left and the door shut, I looked back at Miguel.
Y.L/N: Miggy, whats wrong..
Nothing...
Y.L/N: Please talk to me..
I say as I let go of his hands and cuffed his face
Y.L/N: Miguel i need you to talk to me so we can work this out
As I looked into his eyes, his eyes began to water but still kept a straight face.
M.O'Hara: It's hard (Y/N)...
I could hear his voice break with each word he spoke,
Y.L/N: I know, but you not taking care of yourself is hurting me..and I can tell this is hurting you.
Miguel then just feel to his knees.
M.O'Hara: It's my fault, if I didn't take his damn place all of this wouldn't have happened!
Miguel yelled, still feeling anger being mixed in with his depression,
Y.L/N: But it's not your fault! You didn't know this would've happened and now we just have to accept what just happened and learn how to move on...
I then pulled Miguel into a tight hug, caressing his hair and back with every second that went by.
M.O'Hara: How... How can you say that when you basically went through the same thing!
....
Y.L/N: Sometimes I just needed a distraction from it, and I always knew I could count on you to do so...
A short silence came before you let out a sigh
Y.L/N: and it's my turn to return that favor Miggy, you've sacrificed so much and I want to help you recover...
You looked at Miguel in the eyes and hugged him tightly
Y.L/N: So please.. Let me help you and we can get through this together!
And with that, Miguel let his guard down. His body shaking and crying his eyes out..
His cries were loud but not loud enough for everyone at the outside to hear, his breathing quickened with every tear. After a while and you caressing his hair and back, he calmed down.
Y.L/N: What do you say? Let me be apart of your recovery and we will get through this together..
M.O'Hara: okay, I will at least try..mi estrella
You blushed at the nickname, you haven't heard it in a while but it meant a lot to you.

So with that, the two began their recovery journeys together, you helped Miguel be a bit more social and tried to help him get back on a sleeping schedule. The eating bit for him was easy, but for you it was a struggle. But soon enough Miguel has helped you out little by little and you both improved physically and mentally, enough for you both not to go insane of course!
