After a long run, the children found themselves back to where their home was, seems Striker wasn't lying about the shortcut after all. They soon head to the backdoor, closing the door behind them, they looked to see that their father hasn't returned yet, which both of them sigh in relief. Striker pants from all the running and wipes the sweat from his brow.

"Ah, see, told ya we make it."

He said, looking back at Daisy, who wasn't in perfect shape from breathing, almost collapsed to the ground. Striker laughed as he helps her up.

"You're lucky this time, at least it got us back in time."

"Was I ever wrong when it comes to getting back?"

Before Daisy could respond, the front door opens, both turned to see a man coming inside the house. The silhouette shows an imp that looks almost like Striker, but one of his horns was missing, snapped off to be exact. He wore muted colored western clothes, and had a huge scratch mark on his right eye. Besides from his intimating appearance, he sees the kids right upfront, he smiled as the kids saw that their father has returned.

"Dad!"

Both cheered as they run up to him with both of their embraces, their father, Samuel, chuckles as he hugs both of them back.

"Ah there's my little runts, how have you guys been, I hope you guys have been good while I was gone."

The two backed up to face him. Both had a nervous expression but tried to hide them together.

"Oh no, we were good! We both did as you said!"

"Yes, what Striker said!"

Both Smiled. Samuel was a little suspicious by their weird behavior, but then switches to a compelling smirk.

"Oh okay then, tell me, what did you both do while I was gone?

The two looked at each other, panic was rising on their faces, but Striker got an idea to cover.

"Oh! Well, we were..Uh, sightseeing! We saw the volcanoes outside, and saw a bunch of animals there, it was super cool, you shouldn't seen the views outside earlier today, it was worthwhile."

Daisy intervened as well.

"And I was just playing with my dolls and caught my first butterfly from the window."

The two smiled still, Samuel wasn't buying it, but plays along.

"Oh, that sounds like a grand adventure you guys did, any other stuff you want to see, oh, let me guess, going out hunting?"

He asked, which puts the kid uneasy, they shake their heads."

"Oh, no! We didn't, we were inside the whole time, why would you think that we do such a thing?"

"No reason, just guessing, or the fact that Daisy over there got blood all over her clothes, and one of my guns is missing from my room this morning."

Daisy was confused at first, but when she looked down at her dress, she notices the blood on her, which must've been from the rabbit she was carrying. Striker realizes the gun he had was missing as well, and remembered he accidentally left it back at the forest while the two were trying to get home. Both are now feeling guilty about this.

"Now, either of you tell me what you really have been doing today, or else, there will be trouble."

He said firmly, which the kids gave up their clever lying skills after hearing their father's question.

"Oh, alright, you caught us, but, I swear, it was Striker's idea, he forced me to go with him, even if I said I didn't want to."

Daisy explains. Striker sighs.
