I follow and Maia hesitantly talks with X. I wan't really paying attention, this is stressful. I'd rather put up with Alex's bullshit on a weekend. Cross makes a bunch of turns I can barely keep up with before stopping at a room. He opens it and we are greeted by a few pictures of penguins on the walls. The bed is black and white and the rest is out of view. I can see a few animal plushies under the bed though.

Cross walks through and urges us to come in too. I walk in and stop in the middle. Cross pulled out multiple animal plushies out from the bed before pulling out a large round one about the size of his torso. He layed on one the bed before grabbing it again and looking to me. He put it in front of me and I didn't know what to do. He bounced it and then looked out from behind the plushie.

"Grab it." He said and I hesitantly held my hand out and felt the weight. I almost dropped it but pulled it close and layed it on me. It felt like someone hugging me. What is this supposed to do though.
"It's an anxiety blob, it's weighted and that helps some people with their anxiety or nerves." I looked over the plushie and to him confused. "It might help you with adjusting or at least feeling less nervous around us." I froze a bit still feeling the cold weight on my chest.

"Thank you." I said trying to keep my cool. This Cross is much better than I expected. He's actually pretty nice but that doesn't help my nerves.

Cross pat my head and then held my hand.
"We're having a movie night today wanna come with?"
"Sure." I said holding the blob closer. "What movie is it?" I asked wondering if it's something I knew.
"We haven't decided but either The Nightmare Before Christmas or Coraline." Wait that's the shows Alex is addicted to. He wouldn't stop ranting about it for months. "Are you familiar with 'em?" I nodded.
"It's a really popular movie, Forgotten loves to watch them." I said while Cross started walking out.

"Some things may be different, Coraline and The Nightmare Before Christmas are both rated T for Teens. So I hope you two don't get too squirmy with blood and a few swear words then it's mostly ok." I can be pretty decent with blood especially with Alex. Being friends with him has that effect.
"I think I could handle it and I can tell there's a difference heh." I said remembering how ours is.
"How is it in your au?"
"Hmm, well both are rated either PG-13 or PG and they don't have a lot of blood. Violence and scary stuff yes but it's more like baby's first horror kind of scary." Cross looked kind of confused but looked at me like he wanted me to say more. "Coraline and Nightmare Before Christmas are stop motions and The Nightmare Before Christmas is a musical if I remember correctly." Cross nodded.
"The two movies are acted by actual monsters and The Nightmare Before Christmas is more serious than a musical. The only song is the beginning song and the trick-or-treaters' Kidnap Sandy Claws thing." I hummed happy to know not much changed.

"Here we are." Cross said and then I realized how stupid I must look. I have a large anxiety blob plushie thing in my hands in front of a bunch of murderers. I must look so damn fucking weak right now.
"Coraline is clearly superior it's a classic!" Murder exclaimed.
"Nightmare Before Christmas is in the spirit, clearly we should watch it!" Killer yelled out.
"It's fucking January what Christmas spirit motherfucker!!" Murder argued back.
"Fuck you!!.....Dragon Prince....... is better than.....both of them!!" A new voice yelled back.
"The fuck is that!?" This is pretty loud. Cross ignored the fighting teammates and sat down on the couch patting the area next to him. I sat down and looked over to the fighting team.

Cross pat my head before starting to yell back.
"CARD CAPTOR SAKURA IS THE BEST SHOW OF ALL TIME!" I held back a snicker seeing the Murder Time Trio's shocked faces.
"YOU FUCKING BITCH WE AREN'T TALKING ABOUT STUPID CARTOONS!" Killer yelled out.
"Will you shut up."
"And-a-oop." I said looking away recognizing the voice.
