A detached house with the same architecture design as the castle was standing tall at the back palace.
"This is my house" Shuu put her down in-front of the small house, but what attracted her the most is the spacious forest, full of different kinds of fruits, at the back of the house.
"Most females like to eat fruits so the wolf beastmen moved the trees here" he explained. Looking at her expectantly. "Would you like some fruits? I picked a lot for you" his ears blushing shyly.
"Sure. Thank you. I like fruits" She smiled at him sweetly. "Can I pick some too?" She asked.
Although the orchard in space is full of fruit trees, but seeing unfamiliar and new fruits made her a little curious.
Shuu hesitated for awhile before looking to the direction where Harvey ran. A few seconds later, Harvey walked out of the forest, then nod his head as a permission. Damon slithered out of the deep forest too, hissing, confirming it's safe to enter the forest.
I got excited and almost jumped in his arms, leaving the boys shaking their heads helplessly.
The moment I entered the forest, I started to point here, point there, point everywhere, while Shuu, Damon and Harvey picking the fruits I like happily.
It took Shuu a long time before finally relaxing. I rubbed his head and kissed his cheek as a reward. His eyes brightens and his smile broaden because of this.
I leaned on him as he introduces species of fruits and plants while carrying me. I like his sunny and agile voice a lot.
I've been observing him the whole time, and I could say, it's not hard to love this beastman. He's also handsome and cute when shy. He's sincere and honest. Most especially, he smells sweet. I like him already.
The forest tour took us a few hours, and by the time we went out, it's already lunch time. My stomach growled loudly, leaving me speechless.
"Oh. It's not me. It's the cubs" I said. Lying without blinking.
The men couldn't stop themselves from laughing and teasing me. I pouted my lips and squinted my eyes dangerously.
"I said it's not me! It's the cubs" I repeated unashamed.
"Yes. Yes. It's the cubs. They're hungry. Come, Iris. Let's eat. We don't want the cubs to go hungry, do we?" Shuu coordinated with her lies smoothly, earning an appreciative look from her. She glared at her laughing husbands as a warning.
Damon and Harvey walked out to check the perimeter, hiding their amused faces.
The table is full of food that her husband, Harvey, prepared. They ate with gusto while chattering. After eating, Shuu sliced some fruits for desert.
I saw a yellow oval fruit and took a bite. My eyes widen from amazement. It tasted like white cheese!
"This is so so so delicious" I compliment while taking another bite.
Her eyes squinted like a fox. Very satisfied.
Shuu enjoys her reactions very much. He offered one fruit after the other, making her hum with satisfaction.
After cleaning the plates and leftovers, Shuu held her hand and led her to the palace door.
"I want you to meet my female mother, and my father. Is it okay?" Shuu asked her shyly.
Iris was stupified for a minute before she regained her composure.
Ah ah ahhh... meet the parents already? Is this the culture here? They're always straightforward! Shuu! I underestimated you!
Seeing her looking blankly, Shuu got nervous. He squeeze her hands gently and whispered above her in a coaxing voice.
"Of course it's okay if you're not ready, let's not do it today. Maybe next time? It's just...my parents are very important to me, I thought you'll get to know about me more once you met them. I'm sorry if this is abrupt for you" He softly pleaded.
Seeing Shuu's wolf ears & tail dropped downturn, she signed helplessly while shaking her head.
Forget it. Isn't it just meeting the parents? I couldn't endure to see him down like this. He needs to always be sunny or heroic.
Iris pinched his ear slightly. Pulled his hand and started walking towards the castle.
"Iris..you..." Shuu said full of excitement. Looking at her with strong love, making her neck blush from embarrassment.
"I thought you'll introduce me to your parents?" She smiled warmly.
"Yes..yes... thank you Iris" nodding, he squeezed her hand gently. Feeling cozy and warm inside.
His parents are the most important people for him, and he wants Iris to meet them.
"Let's go" she gently pulled his hand forward.
The palace is too big that you could not possibly explore it in a day. The walls are made of stone and bricks.
When I asked Shuu why not share the process of making solid walls to the City, but he said that the secret Architecture process and design was lost a thousand years ago.
Seeing some wood carvings and the castle's detailed architecture, I silently asked myself, if there's a possibility of a more advance civilization before who disappeared.
Like the legend of the lost City of Atlantis on Earth? because seeing these greek-like structures then compared to the stone-aged like houses outside, there's no comparison at all.
Is it related to the "evil one"?
Thinking of the coming catastrophe, a chill ran down my body.
In a moment of distribution, I didn't notice that we're already infront of the throne room.
There, sat a Gorgeous beastman, looking powerful and authoritative. His sharp eyes and sharp features, though has 80% resemblance to Shuu, give a superior feeling unique to a leader.
The moment we entered the door, five set of eyes immediately stared at me.
Knowing I would meet a King, I removed my face-cover, but the moment I saw the beastmen in the throne room, I instantly regretted my careless decision.
Beside the King is the Beautiful Wolf Queen, with her badass, elegant appearance. However, what I didn't expect was to meet four more characters of the original story.
The Ape King couldn't take his eyes off me. Beside him is an eagle beastman with three stripes. Seeing his face, I instantly knew he's Muir.
Another surprise is the unkept but pretty tiger female with short lavender hair, frowning in displeasure. Behind her is a tall and tand beastman who look so similar to Shuu.
Why is my date turned out like this? huhuhu my poor little heart! (ノಥ,_｣ಥ)ノ彡┻━┻
