Agatha's POV
The next few days were okay. Hindi ulit umulan. Niko took me around. We went to other resorts, nag island hoping din kami.. it took him days to convince me to do it but eventually I gave in. He doesn't know what happend fully. I am not sure if I can open up that part of my life. It traumatized me. To see waves.. it's like seeing Anton and Aki fighting for their lives.
Compred to the boat we boarded years ago, this one is big. Niko assured me that it will be fine. He still has this impression that I can't swim, ayaw ko lang daw aminin dahil nahihiya siya sa akin.
I get flashbacks as I stare at the waves. Aki crying for his life.. Anton struggling to find Aki. I have created this scenarios in my head a long time ago.
I need to snap out of this.
"Hey.." malambing akong niyakap mula sa likuran ni Niko. "Stop staring at the waves. Mas lalo kang matatakot niyan.."
I chuckled. "Stop that.. marunong ako lumangoy. Natatakat lang talaga ako sa dagat.."
"You shouldn't be.." he kissed my cheek softly. "Baka in the next years, I'll buy a lot here.. along the beach."
"You like that?" He looked at me smiling. "Kaya dapat.. hindi ka na matakot sa dagat."
Nginitian ko lang siya at sinandal ang ulo sa kanyang dibdib. "You're right.." I sighed.
It was overall an enjoyable day. We ate lunch in one island. He also tried scuba diving, hindi na ako nagtangkang sumubok. He understood immediately. I am thankfulthat he doesn't really force me on things that I don't want to do.
The next days we visited some resorts. Naghahanap kami ng magandang resort for the wedding. He wanted an intimate one, like I want too.
"How about here?" He glanced at me smiling. "Tahimik.. wala masyadong guests dahil medyo on the pricey side siya. Kung meron man hindi rin masyado madami, konti lang kasi ang rooms dito. We can still get our privacy." He explained.
I surveyed the area. Yes, it's indeed nice. The perfect place for a wedding. Tinignan ko siya at nginitian.
"Let's have it here." I hugged him sideways. He wrapped his right arm around me so he could hug me too.
We decided to stay the night here too so we can try their ammenities and their resto.
"I read on some reviews that their food here is good.." sabi ko nung pareho kaming nakatingin sa menu.
It was already time for dinner at nagdesisyon kami umupo sa labas na parte ng resto kung saan matatanaw ang dagat. They also have the indoor one kung saan airconditioned pero mas prefer namin dito sa labas.
"Really? Hmm.." as he surveyed through the menu. "Why don't we order one of each?" He smiled widely like it was a good idea.
"Ay nako!" I rolled my eyes. "Do you want me to look like a whale on our wedding?!" Kunwaring sumimangot ako.
"What?" He laughed as he gently grabbed my hand on top of the table. "Even if you look like a whale you know so well that I will still love you!" Lambing niya.
"Hmm!" Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. "Diyan ka magaling! Sa kakaganyan mo.. diyan mo ako nakuha!" I made face at him.
He lifted my hand and kissed it gently. "I'm glad it worked." Kumindat pa siya katapos.
