I told myself, looking at the new information on magic monsters. "So there's one in District 7? He's friends with the other subject?"

Even though my reign of testing was put to a stop, I will capture that disobedient fool and use him until he breaks.

"Y-Yes. H-He seems to have b-been related to people from District 1-11."

My assistant mentioned that she gave me blood test results. "Error CQ?"

"Yes, that's him."

Whatever he did, he must be strong since he escaped his own District. This is a serious crime but with a little covering, we'll be able to obtain this one like Ink. I wonder if I should try pushing my experiments a little since these two could literally change the world as we know it. We can advance so much.

I heard the phone ring as I picked up.

"Hello, you are speaking to Dr Flenius from the PL." "Hello, Flenius."

Was this Rocher? What did he want from me?

"Rocher? Is that you?"

"Yes, I'd like to tell you that the President has accepted your offer to move forward and go with the dangerous tests you're planning."

"Wow! I didn't think he'd say yes, considering him being a softie."

"Haha..! Anyways, have a nice day, I'll go have a small chat but don't tell anyone about this."

He hung up quickly.

Rocher P.o.V

I slipped my armed revolver into my pocket and finished up the call with Flenius. I climbed the staircase to the penthouse and noticed how beautiful it would look under my control. I then knocked on the door to X's office.

"Come in, my serviable partner."

He opened it as I took a seat, in front of him, wearing white gloves. "Good evening my friend."

"How was your day?"

He sipped his hot chocolate as I smirked. "Oh wonderful, you?"

"Good, thinking about Cross."

"It's fine, you'll get over it."

"No I won't."

I took the gun out of my pocket and kept it hidden. "How's work?"

I asked as he knew something was going on. "You are here to be pertinent, correct?"

I shot his leg as he limped backwards.

"I'm here to steal your crown. Thank you for dethroning Cross for me but that is all you could do."

"H-How... d-dare you!"

I pushed him against the glass as his body shattered it and he fell off the building. At that moment, I knew I was the new President of Panem... glory to me.
