I sat under the staircase with Daniel, Nick, Chris and Ken. everyone was getting ready for Vice President George Bush to come to our school, then men in suits went up the stairs and they stopped and looked at us and kept going

"What, are the Blues Brothers doing a show in town tonight?"

"more like the Men in Black" I say Chris laughed

"No, George Bush is coming to speak to the school" Daniel says

"The Porn Star?" Nick says I roll my eyes "The Vice President of the United States of America. George Bush" Ken says "Hi, Guys" Amy says

Lindsay and Amy join us under the staircase "Hey" Nick says "Hi" I say "Hey" Chris says "Heyy" Daniel says Nick leans against me "What?" I ask "I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me" he asks "Of course I do" I say "Tonight at 7. I'll pick you up" He says "Okay"

"All right you guys. Come on, beat it. There's no hanging out under the stairs" Mr. Frank says

"Since when" Daniel says

"Since the Vice president is coming, come on, gimme a break. The secret service wants all these areas cleared out" Mr. Frank says We all got up and walked out of there

"How we ever gonna plan our coup?" Daniel asks

"Don't even joke Desario, I can get you thrown in jail just for saying that." Mr. Frank says

We all walk away "Coup, Coup, Couupp" Daniel says "Don't joke about it" Nick says

and did my hair and makeup, and waited outside "Where are you going?" Matthew gets out of his car

"I'm going on a date with Nick" I say

"Oooh" He playfully pushes me I laugh "Have fun" He goes inside. then Nick pulled into the drive way he got out and hugged me "Hey" He whispers "Hi, Nick" I smile and hug him tight "You ready?" He asks "Yeah" He opens my door and I got in he got in the driver side "So where are we going?" I ask "It's a surprise" we arrive at a small diner, He got out of the car and opened my door for me "Thanks" he takes my hand and he opens the door for me. We take a seat at a table he sits across from me "I'm so glad we could go on this date" He smiles "Me too" I hold his hand "What can I get you guys?" a waitress asks "I'll have a burger fries and a milkshake" I say "I'll have what she's having" Nick says "Okay" She smiles and walks away "Your so beautiful" He whispers I look up at him and he smiles I smile back at him. "I can't believe it" He says "What?" I ask "That your my girlfriend" He holds his hands out for me and I take his hands "Do you ever think that we could be together?" he asks "Nick? we are together" I smile "No" he smiles "I mean like..."

"Married" I smile so wide as the butterflies in my stomach went crazy

"You want to marry me?" I ask "Of course I want to marry you Kiara, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and as soon as were old enough, I'm gonna marry you" he smiles I start blushing "Nick, your gonna make me cry" I say he squeezes my hands
