Loreth

Once back in the bustle of the village, I was greeted warmly by the people who lived here. They always seemed to worship the ground I walked on for my powers and keeping the raiders at bay. I didn't care for their praise—honestly I felt like keeping my home safe was the bare minimum but they chose to put their faith in me. Who was I to turn them down?

"They seem...attached." The mandolorian commented under his breath.

"If it weren't for me and the shock trooper, this place would look just like the rest." I told him, leading us to the large hut that serves as our inn and bar. Naturally, we didn't get too many travelers so it was more of a bar than anything else.

"Wait—shock trooper?" Mando asked as I peeled back the entry curtain to the hut. Sitting at the bar was none of than Cara Dune who's eyes went wide when she laid eyes on the mandolorian.

Realizing what might be going through the shock troopers head I held my hands up in defense, "no, no! Cara, he's not here for you. Just seeking a place to lay low like you."

Cara's eyes flicked back to mando and she eyed him and the kid before relaxing her shoulder and letting out a sigh, "forgive me. I thought you might still be with the guild."

Mando shook his head, "not at the moment."

I looked to the both of them," Cara why don't you join us? In exchange for his sanctuary, I think we could work something out. We have our own problem that needs dealt with."

Cara hummed, "a chance to eradicate those damn klatoonians? Lead the way."

I smiled at her, "I thought you'd agree." I lead them to a private room in the back with a fire pit in the middle we gathered around and discussed the situation. The mandolorian wasn't too eager to jump into taking out the raiders without knowing more about how they orchestrated their attacks. As it stands, the mandolorian agreed to help. We set a plan in motion to strike them at their core—their base camp. The mandalorian almost got cold feet when mention of their walker was brought up.

"Wait—you didn't say anything about the AT-ST." He looked at me. Although I couldn't see his face his body language did everything for me. Mando was not happy about this.

I scoffed, "don't worry about the AT-ST. I'll take care of it."

The room went silent and mando shifted his weight. He was...skeptical. I looked at him expectantly. He really wasn't one for words.

He finally voiced, "You're gonna take down a whole imperial walker...by yourself?"

Doubt. It didn't suit him, I smirked and put a hand on my hip, "I know you might just see a pretty fragile thing with a sweet face, but it's just a ruse. You have no idea the things I could do."

The mandalorian looked down and cleared his throat, not denying her claim, "if you could take them down this entire time, why now? Why me?"

That was a fair question, I looked down at my hands too and wrung them, "although I'm powerful, it still isn't enough to tackle on my own. I need help, and the universe sent you to me."
