Text Me Sometime An Adrienette Soulmate AU

Marinette left the bathroom only a few minutes later, her mascara running down her cheeks from the tears that had fallen down her face while she was throwing up in the restroom, leaning against Adrien as she exited, she looked like the walking dead, Adrien's arms wrapping tight around her to comfort her. He didn't know what was wrong, but he would do everything in his power to protect her and take care of her, ignoring Lila's presence as he just focused on comforting his distressed girlfriend.

"Wanna go home?" He asked softly as he pet her head, Marinette nodding slowly against him, they'd had reservations at a nice restaurant to celebrate, but now they had other priorities, Marinette's health came first, and if she was sick, there was no point in celebrating.
"Why don't we just get together at your guys place rather than a fancy restaurant or parties?" Alya asked, she knew something had to be up with Marinette, knowing she'd never been one to have a weak stomach, especially when it came to her rather difficult family.
"That sounds great we'll order piz-" Nino was interrupted by Marinette rushing back into the bathroom at the mere mention of food, Alya giving a sympathetic look before rushing in after her.
"Wow, how pathetic." Lila laughed before walking off to go 'grace' some other people with her presence.

Adrien no longer caring entered the women's restroom and went to Marinette sitting next to her and gently rubbing her back as she wretched, it wasn't a pretty sight, but he didn't care if she looked pretty or not, he'd been with her for his entire life, he'd seen her in worse conditions than this. She'd gotten sick just a couple weeks back where she couldn't even leave the bathroom or she risked getting sick everywhere, which wasn't good during finals week, but they made it work. She would come to school, do the final as fast as humanly possible and go home, he knew this had to be something like that all over again, where they would be on house arrest until she felt better. Looking to Alya she quickly left the bathroom leaving Adrien and Marinette alone for only a few moments before she returned with something in her hands.

"I know it's a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to check." Alya spoke as she set a small box on the top of the toilet, Adrien's mouth going dry as he saw the writing on the box. 'One-Step Pregnancy Test'.
"No- She can't be-" Adrien started to deny the idea as he tried to think back to a moment she could've become pregnant, then it slapped him directly in the face, on her birthday, they didn't have the same luxury of protection in the back seat of his car.
"If it'll help me solve whatever is wrong with me I'll do it." Marinette groaned as she stood up not caring what it was all her attention was on the fact that she didn't want to hurl. After Alya and Adrien left the stall Marinette took the test and walked out setting it on the counter not paying any attention to it as she leaned her face into Adrien's chest.

None of them looked at the test Adrien just comforting Marinette as they waited for the results, Alya looked at Adrien, who looked as pale as a ghost, the two looking down at the test, Adrien slightly ahead of Alya sighing as he thought it was only 1 line, but just moments later Alya proved him otherwise by punching the young Agreste in the arm, his attention quickly turned back to the test to see 2 dark lines staring back at him, Marinette was Pregnant, and from how dark the lines were, this wasn't an early catch of it, Alya looked at Adrien, then at Marinette before all thoughts were interrupted by Nino.

"Hey guys there's some dude out here asking to see Mari." The called from the bathroom door, triggering Adrien to walk out first in case it was who he thought it was, which to his dismay, it was.
"Adrien." Luka greeted briefly before looking around the blonde for Marinette, who was now in shock after finally looking at the positive test. Stepping out of the bathroom Marinette hugged onto Adrien tight.
"What do you want Luka." Marinette asked bluntly, she really wasn't in the mood for anymore drama, she'd already had to deal with her disowned family, Lila, and now her pregnancy topped with Luka, she was worn out.
"I just wanted to see how you were doing, maybe catch up a little. My soulmate actually goes to this school, so I was here to meet her at her sister's graduation." Luka admitted, looking at them, he had no hostility towards them as a familiar face walked up behind him, Zoe, Chloe's little sister approached from behind Luka.
"Maybe we could catch up another time, I have to go book a doctor's appointment." Marinette spoke softly as she looked up at Adrien who was still slightly reeling from the news they'd just learned.
"Oh? Are you okay Mar?" Zoe asked, immediately concerned for her friend and Marinette smiled softly at Zoe's concern.
"Give me just one second." Marinette pulled out her phone, checking something her eyes widening for a moment before turning her gaze back to Zoe. "Well...I'm pregnant." She laughed nervously, it was her first time saying it out loud and she turned bright red at the words alone.

When she was looking at her phone she had checked how long it had been since her last womanly cycle, and it had been quite a while so she assumed it was safe to start sharing the news with close friends, however the looks on their faces as they aside from Alya and Adrien all held pure shock, Nino immediately hugging onto Adrien and patting his back hard, almost congratulatory as Adrien smiled slightly, they would be starting college in 3 months, and becoming parents not to long after that, they had alot of planning to do in not alot of time, in turn Adrien and Marinette quickly left the school graduation celebration and went to begin the full set up of their new apartment. Especially since they had a baby to plan for now.
