                         Abhiyajna's PoV

I cut the call and walked back to study. I didn't find kashvi there maybe she left I didn't give it a second thought because she was already exhausted and maybe came here to just hand me over the mobile. Sanaya and I continued our design discussion. she left room after we finalized the jwellery I asked her to deliver it to Siya's Mumbai address as she will be in Mumbai for her job at time of her birthday. I shook my hand with her and she left our house. I kept working there whole day as I chose to remain in house after examining condition of kashvi.

        In the evening I entered our bedroom but Kashvi was no where to be seen. I looked in bathroom as well but she wasn't there. I panicked a little bit remembering the mental state she was in today morning and started searching for her in our house.

"Janaki kaki" I called out loudly. Hearing my loud voice every single worker gathered there.

" yes sir" Janaki kaki came forward with her head down

" where is kashvi?" I asked them they should know she must've told them or they would have seen her in the house.

" we haven't seen her since afternoon sir." Janaki kaki replied.

" Check the whole damn house I will search her outside. Inform me if you find her anywhere." I shouted while dialling her number which was switched off.

I kept searching for her in every corner of the city but I wasn't able to find her anywhere it's almost midnight now. I checked every place where she could go her house, her friends house her workplace every damn where but she wasn't found anywhere. It was as if she has disappeared like a Vapor.

   I was scared for the first time in my life I was scared I have seen every damn worst thing in my life but I have never been scared but thought of losing her losing my doll made me scared to my gut. Just when I thought I finally had her she slipped from my hands like soil.

  I kept searching for her shouting her name sometimes asking people around suddenly I realised where she can go and I turned my car immediately in that direction

**Flashback**

8 year old kashvi and 15 year old adhiyajna

Today I had worst day. My father beat my mother just because she had extra salt in the vegetable when I came in between them and tried my father from beating my mother he said it's his house and he will do whatever he wants. Beggars can never be defenders or choosers he said and that made me feel helpless what kind of son am I who can't protect his own mother.

That's when kashvi came to me running showing her new dress which was bought by her father.

" Yajna look what papa bought me." She said chirping.

" Not now doll go away." I said in depressed voice.

" what happened yajna?" She sensed my sadness and asked me getting closer to me in her small cute little voice.

" Nothing you go and play somewhere else." I said with little irritation in my voice.

" no I won't go. You tell me what is wrong with you?" She questioned me stubbornly.

I didn't have any patience so I stood up in anger and clutched her forearms tightly. I shouted at her, " Why you keep pestering me? Can't you understand simple meaning of word leave me alone? Stop acting like a brat and stop chasing me around all the time you stupid girl."

I left her arms in jerk and she fell down on ground she got up and while wiping her tears she ran away from me I immediately turned my back to her without looking at her.

It was evening when I felt a calm and I immediately remembered how I behaved with kashvi and I started regretting my words.

I started walking towards my house deciding I will ask Kashvi's forgiveness tomorrow when I heard chaos in neighbor house which was kashvi's house.

Everyone from our neighbourhood was there I went near my elder sister and asked her what happened and she looked at me with sadness in her eyes and said, " Kashvi is lost since the afternoon and no one is able to trace her."

I was shocked and my heart was drowning in unknown place hearing this was I responsible for her sudden disappearance was the first question that came in my mind which made me guilty. I started looking for her in every secrete meeting place of ours but to my misery it was an utter failure.

With losing my hope I ran to temple near my house to pray to goddess that keep my doll safe there were 1 or 2 people in temple and no one else I was near the sanctum when I heard muffling sound of human I went inside the temple and saw kashvi there sleeping keeping with her legs folded closer to her chest and her hand on her legs her head was on her hands

I sighed the sigh of relief went near her and started waking her up.

" wake up doll wake up."

She opened her eyes and looked at me in still sleep haze to properly wake her up I shaked her shoulders little bit

" what are you doing here? Do you know how much panic was I?" I asked her getting little anxious with thought of losing her

" I was angry with you so I came here to god to complain about you. Then I don't know I slept here." She answered with those innocent eyes and that red nose I wasn't able to say anything to her I just smiled at her cuteness and hugged her.
