Chapter 26

(Lucy POV )

After prom I was pooped. So Natsu dropped me off and I got changed and went to bed.

-Lucy's Dream-

I was walking to school with Levy chan and then a random person grabbed me by the hand and started saying weird things. I felt very overwhelmed.

"Come on!!!! You have to hurry !! The mermaids... they aren't going to live much longer. You are the only person who can stop them !!!!" The person yelled

I was scared,confused, overwhelmed. Someone help me I thought.

Then we got to a very dark place. "Jump through the wall. It's a hidden portal." The person yelled

"Why should I trust you !" I shot back

"Fine I am your Guardian please go." He yelled

"What about you?!" I replied

"I can't go.... I'm not a mermaid." He said sadly

"Then what's going to happen to you...." I said worriedly

"It is my duty to protect you so I will risk my life for you." He stated

"But..." I was cut off

"GO!!!" He commanded

With that I jumped through "Be safe....." I thought

Once I got through I was in the ocean it felt like. I felt different but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.... Then it hit me...  I didn't have feet.... but a tail and was breathing under water.

"Princess Lucille ?" Someone said

I turned around

"Who are you ?" I asked

"I am Nishinoya Yuu. I am to be your servant person guy...." he said sheepishly

"I don't know what's going on.... " I said

"Follow me." Nishinoya kun said

I did as I was told. He took me to the castle and the village looked terrible....

"What happened ?" I mumbled

"The new queen, Youko happened." Nishinoya said

"What has she done?" I asked

"She is poisoning Mermaid Tail and everyone living here." Nishinoya said sadly

"How ?" I asked worriedly

"Her merille is weak and terrible. Merille is something that keeps the sea clean and healthy. It is passed down by family and since you are here you are able to save us and overthrow Queen Youko and claim the thrown." He said

"What ? I can't I'm an ordinary girl... " I denied

"No you are a princess." He shot back
