"Do remember that In the medieval age, one of the most influential popes was Pope Gregory I, also known as Gregory the Great. He served as Pope from 590 to 604 AD and played a significant role in shaping the course of Western Christianity and the medieval Church."

As the droning voice of Mrs. Wu echoed through the classroom, Omnis found himself struggling to stay focused.

He absentmindedly tapped his pen against the desk, his mind wandering far away from the lecture. As Omnis gazed out of the window, he couldn't help but wonder if there was more to life than this academy. His thoughts raced.

While Omnis appeared to be just another average student at the prestigious academy, but inside his head, there was a world of thoughts and ideas that set him apart. The dull lecture on medieval history faded into background noise as his mind effortlessly translated phrases into Latin, French, and German by associating the words he knew with English.

Lost in thought, Omnis felt himself slipping into a doze until a sharp voice jolted him awake. A piece of chalk hit him squarely on the forehead before he could even register what was happening.

"Mr. Omnis!" Mrs. Wu's commanding voice reverberated through the classroom, silencing the snickers that erupted from his classmates. Flustered and humiliated, Omnis scrambled to his feet, his words stammering out in a nervous rush.

Omnis stood, wide-eyed and startled, blurting out, "Y-Yes ma'am!"

"If you wish to attain an exemplary grade and keep pace with the rest of the class, then it is imperative that you pay attention during my lectures," Mrs. Wu declared, her tone laced with disappointment. "It is highly improper for you to be dozing off in my classroom."

Bowing his head, Omnis fidgeted uncomfortably in his seat, refusing to meet the accusing gazes of his classmates who continued to snicker at his expense. Mrs. Wu's piercing gaze bore into him, her arms folded sternly across her chest.

Mrs. Wu let out a weary sigh, her voice carrying the weight of a long and challenging day. But before she could utter a word, the shrill sound of the school bell interrupted her. "That's all for today, class. You are dismissed."

Omnis trudged wearily down the dusty path, his feet dragging and his backpack weighing heavily on one shoulder. The day at school had been a nightmare, as always, but today's events had been particularly humiliating.

Omnis cautiously made his way back to his house, sticking to his usual route. However, as he neared his home, a wave of unease washed over him. The once familiar streets now felt strangely foreign and unnervingly quiet. Something had definitely changed.

Lost in his thoughts, Omnis found himself inexplicably veering off into an unfamiliar path towards home. His feet seemed to have a mind of their own, leading him through winding corridors and shadowed passages that he couldn't recall ever traversing before. Each turn only intensified his growing sense of disorientation, leaving him feeling more and more bewildered with each step.

He turned around to retrace his steps, but everything behind him was eerily different - trees were replaced with thick stone walls, houses had vanished into thin air. With a heavy sigh, Omnis resigned himself to continue down the path, now completely devoid of life and shrouded in an eerie silence. The landscape around him seemed to twist and turn, leading him towards a dead end where towering stone walls closed in on all sides.

"Hello? Is anybody here?" There were no responses to his consued and fearful call.

And then, just as quickly as it had started, something unseen seemed to whisk Omnis away from the confining walls. Reality twisted sharply—the hallways blurred into a whirlwind of color and shadow that enveloped him completely—panic set in as Omnis frantically searched for an escape, only to come face to face with a door that materialized out of thin air on one of the walls.

"What is this.." He murmured in a silent voice.

The door swung open to reveal a cool breeze and clear blue skies beyond - a stark contrast to the oppressive atmosphere inside the walls. Confused and scared, Omnis tried to run back the way he came, but the path had disappeared and everywhere he looked were just endless stone barriers closing in on him.

"Hello!? Is anyone there! Help me! I don't know what's going on!" The desperate Omnis cried out, his words laced with panic and urgency. His voice trembled with fear and confusion as they tried to make sense of their surroundings.

In a moment of desperation, he peered through the door and caught sight of a vast landmass suspended in the sky. It was both bewildering and terrifying. If they wanted to escape this strange place, they would have to take the daunting leap into this unknown world.

As Omnis stepped through the doorway, uncertainty filled his voice. The wind whipped around him, adding to his trepidation. His heart pounded in his chest, unsure of what lay ahead. For a brief moment, he hesitated on the precipice, feeling the ground rushing towards him at an alarming speed. But then, gathering his resolve, he took a deep breath and leaped into the void.

The howling wind whipped around Omnis, who was hurtling towards the unknown landscape below. His heart raced with a blend of terror and excitement, each second feeling like an eternity as he braced himself for impact.

But just as he prepared for the worst, a gentle gust caught him and slowed his descent, easing him down onto the ground as delicately as a feather on a summer breeze. As he opened his eyes, Omnis was greeted by a breathtaking sight - expansive fields of emerald green stretched out as far as the eye could see, with bursts of vibrant flowers dancing among the blades of grass in the gentle breeze.

Towering trees, their branches reaching towards the sky, swayed gracefully like ballerinas performing a delicate dance. The colors were so vivid and alive that it felt as though he had stepped into a painting come to life. And the air - it was filled with the sweet scent of freshly cut grass and blooming roses, permeating his senses and bringing a sense of pure serenity to his being.

In the distance, he could hear the soothing rush of a coursing river, its gurgling melodies adding to the tranquil symphony. And all around him, winged creatures resembling tiny birds flitted and chirped, adding their whimsical harmonies to the enchanting scene.

And then, in the stillness, as he lay on the ground, it followed sounds reaching Omnis's ears—soft and melodious, it seemed both close at hand and impossibly distant. It beckoned to him with the promise of answers, the old creaking of the same door from the sky - It had finally closed.
