It was the week I'd move out. Mrs. Lydia and Mr. Oscar each gave me a large hug.
"Visit please, don't wait so long to come back," Mrs. Lydia said, holding my face. I nodded and hugged her. I let go and Nathan hugged me.
"Make sure that Weasley takes care of you," I laughed, holding him tight. Nathan was always taking care of Maddie and me. He was two years older and just applied to work at Hogwarts. I pulled away and sighed.
"He will, thank you, Nathan," Maddie had tears in her eyes.
"You'll come to see us?" She asked. I laughed and hugged her tight.
"Of course," I walked back to the middle of the room. "Thank you so much, I love you guys," I appareated away. I popped at the leaky cauldron and smiled. I walked to the counter.
"One butter beer regular," the man nodded. It was only lunch. He handed it to me and I passed him the money. I walked through the crowded Diagon Alley to the Weasley Wizard Wheeze's. I walked in and fought through the crowd. I was thankful I shrunk my luggage. I saw Lee and George and smiled, walking over.
"Lyra, what do you say we go upstairs," he said looking around. "Quickly ay?" He said. I went upstairs and looked around their apartment setting my butter beer on the coffee table.
"George," I said slowly. He ran a hand through his hair. He looked a lot like Fred but Fred's face was longer and his eyes were bigger.
"Fred was taken, I don't know where," he said. I could see the fear in his eyes. My hand rushed to my chain, knowing immediately where he was. My heart burned through my skin as I clutched the heart shaped stone around my neck.
"The bastards," I muttered, tears building in my eyes. I let go of my necklace as I gripped my wand. "My parents took him,"
"What!" Are you sure you will? Daphne had asked. I made up my mind. I took my luggage and threw it on the table.
"I'll be back, you stay and handle the shop with Lee," I said, as I walked to the floo. "Lestrange Manor," I stepped out of the fireplace and walked down the hall quickly. Screams met my ears and my anger grew. My blood boiled as the yells didn't stop. I heard my mother cackling.
That was my Weasley. I started running until I reached the sound. "What the heck!" I yelled running into the ballroom.
Fred laid on the ground blood dripping from his nose. I rushed in like a whirlwind, tears in my eyes. In a moment my mother and father's wands were in my hand. I pointed my wand dangerously. They taught me too well.
"My wand!!" Mother yelled. "How dare you!" She looked between Fred and me.
"I knew it! You filthy blood trader. You are mud! And not my daughter," She yelled. I wish. I kept my wand on her and a firm grip on hers.
"Lyra, think this through," Father said. I silenced him.
"I'm done thinking how you want," I said and walked to Fred. He stood shakily and I handed him his wand. "I'm leaving now with him," I said backing up. My mother smiled and I wavered.
"Oh dear, you think you're leaving alive," she stated laughing as Death Eaters surrounded us.
I used a slicing spell on the closest one, right across the neck, and his blood sprayed onto me. He dropped to the floor but I didn't wait. I pulled out a knife I kept for emergencies and acted without thinking, as usual survival was the only thing on my mind.
I threw the knife into one then summoned it again. I killed mercilessly. That was one thing that made me Slytherin, do whatever it takes. Fred grabbed my hand and we ran. Out of the ballroom to the lounge.
