The soft jazz of the café jukebox fills the room with a tinged blue as I sit at a table on 5th Avenue, New Domino. The drum of the café's bustling added to the ambience of the soft orange candlelight shining on the playmat before me. Across the coffee table sat a petite woman with bright blue eyes who was fanning over a hand of five playing cards frivolously... and perhaps a bit anxiously. Looking at the mat, her poor poker face shone through from behind the sleeveless complement she held aloft
"You know, it's not every day that I get called out to go to a café by a mysterious and pretty lady dressed like Dark Magician Girl and then immediately challenged to a duel. You've a strange way of asking people out on dates." My voice carried itself over the hum of the room as I looked up at her again, a beleaguered smile forming on my lips, "If you don't mind me asking as well. How did you get my number anyways?"
"This isn't a date! T-This is for the fate of my world! As for your phone number, a woman has their methods... That said, focus on the duel, Mister!" the girl stammered out, her cheeks flaring up. The pink blush on her face hid her red tinge beneath the powder. "My, how has this game become so convoluted?"
She paused a moment after a sigh escaped her mouth, her hands moving to place a card down on the table, "First, I'll activate the magic card, Soul Servant, which will allow me to search through my deck to put a card I want on the top of it. The card I choose is the magic card, Dark Magic Circle! Then, I'll summon the lovely Chocolate Magician Girl in attack position and activate her effect."
Dark Magician Girl thrusts the card out onto the table, its bare art shining from the foil as the duelist continued.

"The bonds of fate are always in my hands, just as my master before me taught me so! I'll pull through... And so; I use Chocolate Magician Girl's special ability to discard a spell-caster type monster from my hand and draw a card from my deck. The card I'll discard from my hand will be The Dark Magician and due to the previous effect of my Soul Servant, I'll draw the Dark Circle into my hand! I'll now use the power of the Dark Magic Circle to look at the top three cards of my deck."
As she's continuing her synergistic plays, I fan the contents of my hand before myself—
Now then, let me posit you a hypothetical. Suppose a beautiful, absolutely stunning woman with a large set and a lovely voice calls you over the phone and asks to meet you at a café. Now hear me out. Say she also plays a random card game that you just happened to grow up alongside for your life and invited you to play such a card game within said café. Would you, or would you not immediately drop everything you were doing to meet her? I know my choice. Though, the 'drop everything you were doing' part of this equation is seeming to prove to be quite the issue.
You see, in my youthful stupor, I had forgotten that the
"Because I excavated Eternal Soul that states the name Dark Magician upon it, I'm able to add the Eternal Soul to my hand. Finally, I'll activate the magic card Secrets of Dark Magic. With this card, I can fusion summon using Dark Magician Girl in my hand with my Chocolate Magician Girl on my field as materials to bring forth the bond between master and myself, The Dark Magicians!"

The girl looks up at me with a smile on her face as she concludes her play, her pink blush and shining eyes bright as she takes the lead.

Unfortunately for her, I wasn't exactly in the greatest mood today
