The Girl With A Story (TMNT, fem! reader) 2012 ver.

-PRESENT, SAME EVENING-

Karai and Yin waited outside. She told her old friend the story of finding out that her true father was Shredder and all that drama. Karai has told Yin that she's tried numerous times to take him down on her own-but no such luck.

"Shredder is a coward who does nothing but his hideous henchmen do it for him!" Karai spat. "Especially Bradford."

"About him..." Yin hesitated. "I killed him... But...I didn't mean to!"

"Well-you did us and the world a favor, I could care less about him", she rolled her eyes. "And...our friends are here."

From the shadows came Mikey and Leo. They all greeted Karai with a smile and Karai smiled back, a small one. They truly looked happy to see one another again after a long time.

"Yin, look", Leo began, turning towards her. "We need you to come back."

"I don't care", she snapped. "If I get caught...then so be it."

"Don't talk like that!" Mikey exclaimed. "We need you...back...back at home! If you're gone-we'll miss you.."

"He's right, Yin", Leo spoke up again. "We all need you." I need you...a lot.

"No, Leo, I don't wanna go back. Not...not right now", she shook her head. "Besides-I'm having a fun time with Karai."

"It's been forever, sis!" Mikey looked at her. "Do you wanna come back when Yin does?"

"I don't know, Mikey", Karai shrugged, looking at the ground for a second. "It doesn't feel right to come back out of nowhere when I've been gone for so long."

"But Splinter misses you", Leo cut in. "It'll make him feel better to see his daughter."

Karai narrowed her eyes at him. "I'll think about it. No promises."

"PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSEEEE come back!!" Mikey begged, on his knees, staring up at Yin with 'the eyes'.

"Mikey, I-." She sighed, closing her eyes for a moment, opening them again. "Fine...I'll go back. You might as well, also, Karai, because they're just gonna bug you."

Karai rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Sure, why not?"

"Yay!" Mikey snatched Yin and Karai both into a hug.

"Come on, guys. We shouldn't be out here any longer", Leo said as he lead the way home.

When they got back Donnie and Raph were surprised to see Karai. Then each of them remembered that Yin knows her from TCRI when they were little. Donnie explained to Karai that Splinter is recovering from an injury caused by Shredder.

"I wish he'd just drop dead", Karai sneered. "It's pointless doing what I need to do if he's just gonna ruin our lives!"

"We need to think of a solid plan!" Mikey exclaimed. "We can go to Dimension X and see! I happen to be the brains of the outfit, there~."

"You know?" Leo began, looking at him. "That actually might not be such a bad idea. But we need to wait until Splinter is awake again."

Giving a glare at Raph, Yin gets up and walks to her room. "I'll be back, I'm gonna change."

"Still can't control yourself, hm?" Karai taunted Raph.

"Stay out of it, sister, this is none of your business", he snapped.

"It is now. Yin told me all about it", she chuckled. "Pity."

"Okay, Karai, enough", Leo frowned. "We need to think about how we're gonna go about Mikey's plan."
