Wings of Fire Winglet: Rainforest

Baobab watched as the two guards pounced on the SeaWing. This was her chance to escape... but she couldn't help but feel bad about it. She remembered her Aunt Tsunami, who wasn't really her aunt... but she felt like family, and that was enough. She made a decision and bolted out of the tree, tackling the orange guard. He didn't really attack, he just looked... confused? Why would he be confused when she had him right under her talons? The red guard and the purple SeaWing stopped fighting and glanced her way.

"What in the blaze...?" The red guard said woefully. Baobab was too busy staring back at the red guard to notice the other one shimmied out from under her. "Who are you? And.. what are you?" The armored SkyWing demanded, and added the last part a little carefully. Was that carefulness in his voice?
"I'm Baobab.. of the RainWings." She lifted her chin and pinned her wings back in a regal way, flaring down at him. The guard simply made a 'mhm.. sure' look and circled her. She pressed her leafy wings close. Her earlier 'disguise' fell out during the chase.

"It's one of those LeafWings." The SeaWing added, which the orange guard stamped his tail to shut him up.
"Let's take her back to the palace." The same guard said.

Oh no, I'm NOT getting captured today. Baobab thought with a scowl on her face. She got ready to battle when ANOTHER SeaWing fell from the sky and tackled a guard. The other one got up and pinned the guard standing over him. Baobab took the chance and darted off. Both tribe guards dashed after her.

As if I were a prize! Baobab thought angrily. The only place she thought was safe was the Rainforest, but she didn't want to endanger her own tribe, so she made a hard left and steered towards Jade Mountain. The school.. there, she would be safe. Probably...
