Kehte hain, "Khuda ne is jahaan mein sabhi ke liye

Kisi na kisi ko hai banaaya har kisi ke liye"

Tera milna hai us Rab ka ishaara

Maano, mujhko banaaya tere jaise hi kisi ke liye

We were split into groups of six, all freshers, thrown into this unpredictable game. Somehow, I ended up in Rivan's group. Each of us had been assigned a number, and now, our fate rested on a roll of the dice.

"Alright, here goes!" The senior hosting the game—Aarohi—grinned as she rolled two dice onto the table. They clattered before finally settling. "Number 3 and 5!" she announced, and a collective murmur spread through the crowd.

Right now, those numbers had to kiss.

A wave of relief washed over me. Thank god it wasn't me. How could anyone do that in front of so many people? The idea alone made my face burn.

If I ever have my first real kiss, I want it to be somewhere quiet, somewhere hidden. Somewhere no one is watching, where there's no fear of being seen. Maybe in the rain—yes, that would be perfect. The soft drizzle, the cool scent of wet earth, just the two of us, lost in the moment.

Not here. Not like this. I watched as the two guys went for the kiss—if you could even call it that. Their faces were twisted in disgust as they barely brushed lips in the quickest, most reluctant peck imaginable.

The second it was over, they scrubbed their lips furiously against their sleeves, glaring at each other like mortal enemies.

And all I could think was: Enemies to lovers. BL storyline unlocked.

(A - "You're acting like you'll never kiss anyone in your life."
N - "Shut the hell up. You wrote me like this. Because of you, I couldn't even date anyone properly.")

The laughter around us hadn't even died down when Khushi—the senior hosting this chaos—rolled the dice again.

"Okay, next numbers' task will be... to lift one of them in a bridal carry for ten seconds!" Aarohi said.

The dice landed.

1 and 4.

...Wait. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!

That was me and Rivan.

"Is this really necessary?" Rivan asked, sounding as uninterested as ever.

And just like that, an old memory stabbed its way back into my mind. The time he casually told me I was fat. I was chubby back then, sure. But during these last two year, I lost way too much weight.

(A - "That was years ago. Just forget it."
N - "Who made me remember it in the first place?"
A - Silence.
N - "Fatt gayi ab? Bol na." )

I barely had time to process the flashback before Rivan stood up, walking toward me. I was already on my feet, but my body stiffened as he stepped closer.

And then—his face dipped near my ear, his breath warm against my skin.

"Do I have your permission?" he whispered.

I nodded automatically. But would he really not do it if I said no?

Before I could even process what was happening, I was lifted off the ground.
