Jungkook checks himself in the mirror and pats himself for looking good. He feels a bit different as he looks at himself. It's Namjoon's wedding. The guy finally decided to tie the knot after being in a relationship for five years.

Jungkook is really happy for him. The wedding venue is in Busan, somewhere near the sea, with a beautiful balcony overlooking it. It's surprising considering none of the grooms are from Busan, but Jungkook being from this city was a plus point for him. He had not been here since he left and he is glad he could come back.

Jungkook watches as Namjoon frenzies over his tie, "Nam, I promise you look handsome,” he tries to assure him.

"Shut up, Kook. I'm nervous!" his friend yells and Jungkook laughs loudly. God it's been a while he's enjoyed himself like this.

“Alright, alright.” He stops laughing and says it in a chuckle. “I'll be waiting for you outside.” He sees Namjoon nod while still trying to fix his tie. He shakes his head at that.

He’s excited for the ceremony and can’t wait for it to start. He walks back to take his seat in the second row and that’s when he sees him, him out of everyone else.
Jungkook feels like his heart might jump out of his chest.

What are the odds of Taehyung, the man he has not been able to stop thinking about for months, being Namjoon and Jin’s wedding photographer?

It’s like Taehyung sensed his eyes on him because their eyes meet and he can’t bring himself to look away. This time Taehyung's eyes are warm. He smiles at him and Jungkook can’t help but smile back, some kind of silent agreement between them.

The wedding was beautiful, excluding how Jin almost hit the cake while dancing with Namjoon, and how he scolded Namjoon for ten minutes. Actually, that was beautiful too. Just made it extra special. Funny part? Jungkook captured it on his phone and he's surely going to tease his manager about this.

They cut the wedding cake when the sun is setting down and the sky has turned pink. Jungkook congratulates both of them, gifting Namjoon a watch, while he gives Jin a bouquet of chocolates along with a handmade bag. Jungkook heard from Namjoon that Jin loves collecting various bags, a hobby the older developed when he travelled to India and found amazing bags there.

Throughout the wedding, he couldn’t help but steal glances at the handsome wedding photographer. He sees how happy Taehyung looks doing his job and how much he enjoys it. This sight was always there with Taehyung, Jungkook was just too blind to notice it before. But now that he has seen it, he can't stop looking at the alluring boy.

He leaves the couple as they're meeting their other friends and walks to the other end of the venue. He stands by the balcony as he watches the sun go down slowly. It's colorful hue, adding life to sea. He’s never felt so much at peace.

"Hey," he hears the melodic voice; a voice that is like a warm breeze in heavy winter to him.

"Hi," he greets his ex-boyfriend. "How have you been?"

Taehyung smiles at him, warmly. The other stands beside him, hands on the railing as Taehyung overlooks the view. "It's beautiful."

"It is, they chose the perfect spot." Jungkook mimics Taehyung's position.

"I've been good!" Taehyung answers his previous question. "What about you?"

"I've been good too, Taehyung." Jungkook breathes through his nose. "It's been a long time."

"It is. The sun is setting." Taehyung points out as the sky slowly starts to turn a shade of brown.

"You've always loved sunsets." Jungkook remembers.

"Always."

There's a moment of silence between them before Jungkook asks, "I've never asked this, but, what did you do in Paris?" He looks at his ex boyfriend but the other doesn't look back, just watching the sunset.

"It was an internship. They liked the photos I sent them. That internship helped me get this job." Taehyung looks at him. "I don't travel as much now, I'm the main photographer, it's my own firm. But I felt Busan was calling for me." His ex gives him a smile.

"I see. Busan is beautiful."

"It is."

The silence presume, but it's a peaceful one. Sometimes after Taehyung breaks it.

"What about you, Jungkook? How's your job?"

"It's perfect. There's a workload on some days. But I manage.” He makes a noise. "I also started anger management classes, I don't think I told you this."

"You didn't, but that's great, Jungkook," Taehyung says, and Jungkook feels something warm in his stomach whenever the other says his name. "I'm happy for you."

"So am I, Taehyung." Jungkook says earnestly.

The sky has started to turn blue, slowly. Indicating the sun going down and the moon rising up. The water below has started reflecting the light of the moon.

"This might be weird, but, are you seeing anyone?" Jungkook suddenly asks and Taehyung laughs.

"No Jungkook, I am not." Taehyung replies between his laughter.

And Jungkook loves this laugh a lot. He realises that this is exactly where his happiness lies, his future lies. This is where he's supposed to be. This is where his home is, because Taehyung is his home, he has always been.

“The sun finally set.” Jungkook observes.

“It did.” Taehyung looks at him and gives him a eye smile.

"So." Jungkook starts, sees how the moon is starting to shine. "Do you want to be friends?" He asks hopeful.

Taehyung laughs once again. He looks back at the sky and replies, "the moon is beautiful, isn't it?"

While they both bask in the beautiful moonlight, they both fail to notice the newly married couple finally being happy for the reunion and cheering for them.

And while they both bask in the moonlight, we all hope for them to end up happily in a reality which just exists for us only in dreams.
