There was a loud bang which made me jump a foot in the air. I turned to the door to see a flustered looking Glen and a beaming girl, his mate. It was then I realized I had never figured out her name, after all we had been through. At that moment Damon and I were snuggled up on the sofa watching TV. I didn't really wanted company but I wasn't about to throw them out.

They walked to the couch and the girl plonked herself next to me and Glen sat next to her. "You know, I think I need something more to call you in my head rather then 'the girl'," I teased.

"You think about me?" She asked, mock pride on her face. "That's what you got uh?" I asked.

"Quin, my names Quin," She laughed.

Quin. Something in me clicked but I couldn't quite pin it. Something was telling me there was more between me and this girl then either of us knew. I merely shrugged it off. I just wanted to relax and watch TV. I didn't want to think about anything that I would have to deal in the future. But a big part of me wanted to get to know this girl.

"People that shift early, is that common?" I asked.

"Fairly, it's not anything new or abnormal," Damon answered.

That made me feel a hell of a lot better about her health. I was worried some sort of disease had caused it. Why I cared so much? I don't know, I just did.

"Where did you come from?" I asked Quin and shifted so I faced her more. A thoughtful expression made it's way on to her face before turning into a angry one.

"I don't know. I just woke up and I was this giant ass animal. Speaking of which, what the hell am i?"

I was surprised Glen hadn't explained anything to her yet. But they were most likely cought up on making out and cuddling. Despite the way me and Glen had met I knew he was a sweet heart inside. He would treat her with care and love which was good. I would have to cut his head off if he didn't.

There I go again.

What is up with me?

I ignored her question more intrigued on why she couldn't remember anything. How she could have ended up here when she didn't know what or where she was. But I guess her wolf scences picked up on the scent.

"And your injury?" I asked.

"Again, it was there when I woke up. I don't remember," She breathed. You could tell she was frustrated.

So that means she got hurt before she turned or before she woke up. It was possible a rogue came across her, or a wolf checking it's territory. But it was also possible something happened while she was awake. She could have been in a fight with someone. Unless she regained her memory we wouldn't know.

"Now why don't you tell me about wolves?" She snapped. This bitch was truly fiesty. The Luna in me was not happy with her tone. Despite the feeling of us being connected I wasn't going to tolerate such a tone.

I growled, and she leant back wide eyed, "Do not talk to me like that. As far as I know you're still a rogue, I could kill you," I snapped.

I wouldn't, I couldn't. I just wanted to make sure the point got across. I could tell I frightened her by the way she scooted closer to Glen. He looked angry but I knew he wouldn't do anything against his Alpha female. I also knew she wasn't really a rogue considering she was Glen, the beta's mate. Once they locked eyes she was put into the pack, but she wouldn't know that.

"S-sorry," She stuttered and avoided eye contact.

I couldn't help but smile a little at her fear, it made me feel powerfull.
