Jian Chen was startled by him. He held the quilt and moved back, then buried his chin in the quilt and pressed the tip of his nose against the edge of the quilt, looking pitiful.
"How did you..." He opened his eyes wide.
"You buttoned the wrong buttons," Xie Shenzhi noticed his disbelieving look and said thoughtfully, "the last two rows were buttoned wrong, but even so, it still took me some time."
The wolf outside seemed to smile. His tone was calm and just right in curiosity: "Can you tell me where you bought this?"
Jian Chen didn't answer, and didn't dare to answer. He could only pull the quilt higher and higher, and then slowly hide his whole body behind the quilt.
The screen of the mobile phone lying next to the pillow still showed the game interface. Cartoon sound effects gently circulated in the air, but soon another hand with sharp bones came over and stopped the screen, followed by Jian Chen's low-pitched discussion...
"... You said, just hold me to sleep."
Xie Shenzhi responded, dug him out of the quilt, and touched his lower back gently: "But I still want the tail."
"No!" Jian Chen shouted softly, but the next second he was held in his arms.
Xie Shenzhi in the darkness was even scarier than he looked just now, but after being rejected, he just lowered his eyes quietly, hugged the person through the quilt and kissed him, then lowered his ears and handed his tail to the person.
"Then I'll give you mine."
Eh?
Jian Chen's eyes were bright under the quilt. He glanced briefly at the other person, grabbed his tail before relaxing and leaning into Xie Shenzhi's arms.
After a while, Xie Shenzhi heard the young man's stumbling questions coming from his arms.
"Did you take medicine?"
"I took it," Xie Shenzhi closed his eyes, "but the medicine is not very effective on me."
Holding the fluff on the tip of the other person's tail with her fingers, Jian Chen thought for a while, then rubbed the other person and said in a breathy voice: "If you are still feeling uncomfortable, I can help you."
"But agree in advance that there will be no tail or ears."
The breathing on the side of his neck was quite turbulent. Jian Chen felt nervous when he suddenly tightened his arms around her waist. Then he heard the other person's soft and hoarse voice.
"Don't you want to sleep tonight?"
Jian Chen's face suddenly turned red. He turned sideways and buried his head in the other person's arms. His hands were still holding his clothes. His heart was beating so fast, but he didn't know how to speak.
Seeing him like this, Xie Shenzhi had no choice but to take a deep breath, then lowered his head and kissed his cheek, patting the young man's back with a low smile.
"Sleep," he ordered.
This was what Jian Chen had said to him countless times just now. The roles were reversed with a smile. It was Xie Shenzhi's turn to say it to Jian Chen.
Pressing the somewhat disobedient young man back in his arms, Xie Shenzhi sighed and repeated: "Sleep."
"I-"
"If you don't sleep, I really won't let you sleep," Xie Shenzhi's voice was soft, but the words he said made Jian Chen instantly quiet, "it will be useless even if you cry and beg me."
