The smile on Jiang Yuchen's lips slowly tightened, but he still repeated in his usual calm voice: "He is my assistant."
It always felt like the other person emphasized the first four words of this sentence very hard. The director was so stared at that he clicked his tongue and had no choice but to retract his thoughts.
"I won't borrow it if you don't want to, why are you so stingy," he waved the speaker in his hand, "and you don't even ask your assistant what he thinks."
"Maybe others want to?" the director asked tentatively.
Jiang Yuchen straightened his back and put a smile on his face again.
"He is the only assistant like him," he said. "Can you ensure that he can stay in the industry after he stars and that no other messy things happen?"
Although Jiang Yuchen didn't say anything, the director could tell that he treated people as treasures, so he had no choice but to give up completely. While inviting people in, he looked at Jian Chen with a particularly regretful look.
Seeing him in a daze, Jian Chen hugged the bag in his arms tightly and had no choice but to get close to Jiang Yuchen and asked secretly when the director wasn't paying attention: "Are you talking about me?"
When Jiang Yuchen was pulled over to talk just now, Jian Chen consciously took a step back and didn't particularly pay attention to the content of their conversation.
But during this period, the director kept looking at him with a puzzled look. Jian Chen thought about it and couldn't hold back his curiosity and asked Jiang Yuchen this question.
Jiang Yuchen waited for him to walk into the shed. Seeing that he was really curious, he replied, "Well, I'm talking about you."
"He wants you to play a guest role," Jiang Yuchen didn't hide it. After saying goodbye to the director, he turned around and opened the dressing room door, tilted his head and asked, "do you want to act?"
Acting?
This vocabulary is somewhat unfamiliar to Jian Chen.
He watched Jiang Yuchen sit down in front of the dressing table. He imagined himself doing actions in front of many cameras and being watched by many people, and then he shook his head with great resistance: "No."
"Why not?" Jiang Yuchen asked.
"I don't like it," Jian Chen went over and put the paper bag on the table and explained seriously, "there are too many people and you have to be watched."
Although Jian Chen took the initiative to choose this world, he was simply curious about this untried subject.
But if he was really asked to change his clothes and stand there, reading lines to others according to the plot, and according to Jian Chen's temperament, he might be so nervous that he would open the system panel and quickly exit the world before the director said to start filming.
So he winked and repeated, "I don't like it."
Jiang Yuchen hummed and said in a matter-of-fact manner: "So stay away from the director during this period."
"He just wanted to encourage me to let you go filming," he looked at the person behind him through the mirror. When he saw Jian Chen's eyes widening slightly, he continued unhurriedly, "and then I rejected him."
No wonder.
Jian Chen thought to himself, breathed a small sigh of relief, and moved closer to Jiang Yuchen.
"Then you have to protect me and don't let me be taken away." He took out a pack of biscuits from the bag, and after thinking about it, he took out his notebook as well, not forgetting to mutter to Jiang Yuchen, "it's just me, if I'm taken away, you'll be all alone."
