"What are you going to do with Lupin?" Princess asked.

"Don't tell me you got attached to him, my princess."

"Of course not.no no no"

"Good He's just a petty thief"

"So... I wanted to talk to you"

"What do you want?"

"I did what you asked, didn't I? I don't need to do anything like this anymore, right? Will you follow through with our agreement?"

"Boston University, is that it? The archeology department there is one of the best in the world. Do you think you can keep up?"

"I really want to try to go there! In fact...they already
accepted my application"

"Don't speak nonsense! How dare you do this to me?
I raised you when your mother died, and I turned you into what you are today?! You are ungrateful!" Then he slams her across the room.

"I'm so sorry! I can't thank you enough for everything you did for me! But, I don't want to steal and cheat people anymore! I really just want to study archeology.
I want to become an archaeologist, like Bresson!"

Thomas was furious at first till he smiles, "very well, When this is over, you can go to Boston university, or wherever you want"

"Really, you mean it?! Thank you, father!"

Then Gerald comes up, "You fear that girl's talent, don't you?"

"What's that you're holding?"

"That famous thesis of yours, seems to be plagiarism of something she wrote in kindergarten. After all, talent is hereditary, isn't it? Shouldn't you thank her, professor?" Gerald taunts him.
