When we meet again

That night Sanem went home, she was devastated, she took off her rings and put them with Can's ring on the chain around her neck. Her parents saw her crying, they were very worried about Can and Sanem .
MEVCABI: "Sanem, why did you take your rings off? Can Will remember, don't give up on your love, Sanem."
SANEM: "I will put the rings on when he remembers me completely and I mean everything. No one is to tell him that we are engaged to be married, I want him to want to be with me, not because he feels like he has to be with me."

That night Sanem called Aziz and Emre and told them what she told her parents. They didn't agree with her but they will go along with it.
The next morning Sanem went to the hospital to see Can.
Sanem: "good morning Can."

SANEM: "how did you sleep?
CAN: ok, I had some pain in my ribs but otherwise ok. Therapy came in this morning, they worked with me, they seemed happy with the results, and I might be going home tomorrow."
SANEM: "really!! That's great Can, you will feel much better when you're home."
Can, just stared at her, he's thinking, she so sweet, and caring, I could see why I fell for her, she's different, not like anyone else I've been with. Sanem noticed that he was quiet and staring at her.
SANEM: "Can, are you ok?" She got up, and scratched his bear.
CAN: yes, I'm fine, ( she receives a phone call from Metin)
SANEM: "hello, Metin, he's doing much better, he will probably be coming home tomorrow" Can is wondering why she's talking to Metin. She talked to him about the creams and then they hung up.
CAN: "how do you know Metin?"
SANEM: "from the Agency, from you, and he's helping with my cream business."she went on to explain about the creams and the factory and the store that she will be opening at the bottom floor of the agency.
CAN: "wow, you're a very busy girl."and these recipes are your grandmothers?"
SANEM: "yes, I've been selling some on line and at some local mom and pop stores and I'm getting very good feedback."
CAN: "thats great Sanem, I would love to help you if I can, maybe advertise your product, since we work together"
SANEM: "that would be great, thank you."
They spent the rest of the day talking about anything and everything. After she left Can, couldn't get her out of his mind. She's beautiful, smart, sweet. But to give up my freedom for love, that's not me and I don't know if that's the route I want to take.
It's been a week since Can has been home, his cast was taken off. And he's ready to get back to work. He hasn't seen Sanem that much. He's wondering where she's been.
Sanem was having a hard time with Can's memory
Loss. She went to see him a couple of times but she felt like she was in the way. He seemed happy to see her but, she misses what they had.
Today would be the first day back at work for Can, Sanem was so happy, hoping that the Agency might trigger his memory. Everyone welcomed him with open arms.
AZIZ: "welcome back my son"
CAN: "thanks dad it good to be back."
Emre and Leyla went and hugged Can. Can noticed the ring on his finger.
CAN: "Emre are you Engaged?" EMRE : "yes, Leyla and I got engaged before the accident, you were there but you don't remember." He hugged both of them again and congratulated them. He was very happy for them.
EMRE: "Can, Leyla and Sanem there sisters."
CAN: "really, the two of you don't look at all a like."is Sanem here?"
EMRE : "she will be in a little later, there were some problems with the contractors at the cream factory."
Sanem just got back to the Agency, she can't wait to see Can, she hoping maybe something may have triggered his memory. She goes to his office.
SANEM: "hi Can," he looks up and gives her that killer smile.
CAN: "hi , how did it go with the contractors if everything ok?"
SANEM: "Yes, finally, I swear they see a woman paying them and telling them what she wants and they try to take advantage of her."(she was getting angry)They try to over charge me with almost everything, materials, hourly pay! Well let me tell you!! There is no way they will get away with it!!( she was fuming and he was loving it)he had this huge smile on his face.
She saw in smiling. "Why are you smiling "
CAN: "oh nothing, (what a spitfire!) listen I will come with you if you want. I can help."
SANEM; "ok, next time I need help, I will call you, I'll tell them I'm sending my bodyguard!"Can, had some kind of flashback when he heard the word bodyguard but can't place it. "Can are you ok?"
CAN: yes, I'm fine., um, we have a new client coming in a cosmetics company. They're expanding across Europe. If we get this account it will be great.
SANEM: "ok, I have some work to do, I'll be in the file room." On the way out she went to Leyla's office.
LEYLA: "how's it going with Can."
SANEM: "ok I guess, it's so frustrating you know. What scares me the most is what happens if he doesn't remember our love, and he meets somebody else and he falls in love with them. I don't think I could survive. I won't make it."
LEYLA: "you can't think like that Sanem, this is just temporary you will see."
SANEM: "I hope you're right!" I have some work to do I'm going to the file room."
LEYLA : "why aren't you working in Can's office? you always worked together."
SANEM: "it just doesn't seems right now, you know the boss and employee in the same office." She got up and went to work. CeCe comes in to see her.
CECE: "Sanem, how are you? You look sad is everything OK?"
SANEM: "CeCe everything is a mess, we were so happy, fate can be so cruel sometimes."
CECE: "Sanem, my friend, don't give up, Can bey loves you, he will remember."
SANEM: "I hope you're right, I guess only time will tell." She went back to work, trying to put everything in order, she climbed up on top of the file cabinet to try to get some old files that were thrown up there. Can is watching her climb up, what is she doing? All of a sudden the whole cabinet started coming forward, Can grabs her and pulls her away, he's carring her in his arms. "Are you okay?" "I think so, thank you!"he's holding her close, he feels something familiar, like a déjà vu. He's holding her very close to his chest. Sanem is just melting.
SANEM: "Can, what's wrong? Are you ok? did you hurt your self grabbing and carrying me, your not fully recovered yet. I'm sorry Can, please put me down, did I hurt you?"he smiles at her and says. "Are you kidding, you're so light I can carry you around all day!"
They both start to laugh and Sanem says "well Can Bey, you better start working on those muscles again because this girl is very clumsy." They both started to laugh.
CAN: "let's go to the meeting, and then we will come down and put everything back together." "Ok Can bey, whatever you say."
They were in the conference room with the creative team when the team from Redmond cosmetics came in.
There was a young man about Cans age and two older men that greeted the team. The young Man was eyeing Sanem. He kept trying to start a conversation with her. And being polite and sweet Sanem went along with it. Can other hand didn't like it. He didn't like the way he was looking at Sanem. The young man's name was Atlan.
ATLAN: Sanem, what a beautiful name for a beautiful woman, ( Sanem thought this guy is laying it on pretty thick, he's a customer so keep him amused.)
SANEM: "oh thank you, that's so kind you.( Can was not happy, can't she see that he's a player, of course she can't she's to innocent.)Atlan tried to sit next to Sanem, but Can was too quick for him. Sanem looked at him confused, what is he doing.
The meeting was going well. They made another appointment for Friday, this gives the creative team time to come up with a ruff draft of an advertisement.
ATLAN: Sanem, are you busy we can go to lunch together, and discuss your ideas. ( Sanem was cringing is this guy for real)Can can't stand this guy!
SANEM: "thank you that would be nice, but I'm so busy, I have a-lot of work to do. Maybe some other time."
ATLAN: " ok, we will see you on Friday. It was nice meeting you all,"he grabs her hand and kisses it with a lingering kiss." Can decides to grab her hand and pull it away and she just looks at him.
They walk out and Can takes her hand and pulls her back into the office.
SANEM: "Excuse me what do you think you're doing?"
CAN: "did you not notice how long he was lingering, kissing your hand?
SANEM: "actually, no, I thought he was a very charming."
CAN: "oh you did , well I didn't, that guy is a player, watch out!!"
SANEM: "Can Bey, I think I can take care of myself. Don't worry about me." " oh, and how do you know that he's a player? Oh wait a minute I guess it takes one to no one."
CAN: "Sanem, I'm telling you be careful!!"
SANEM: "like I said don't worry about me! Worry about yourself!" They are both irritated with each other. " And why do you care so much Can Bey?"
CAN: "because, (he hesitates) you're my friend, and I don't want anyone to hurt you." (Back to friends are
we!)
SANEM: "well my friend this girl is tuffer than you think don't underestimate me!" She's up into his face and her hands on her hips. And he's loving every minute of it. "I'm going back to work!!" (And she walked out of the office. Friends again I'll show him friends Can Bey, you make me so mad I could scream!!)
Can just loved the interaction with Sanem, wow, she is a little spitfire!!
At the end of the day, Can went to help Sanem with the files, he walks in with that sweet half smile of his, and she just melts.
SANEM: "what can I do for you my friend!"
CAN: " I promised I would help you with the Files, so I'm here to help." "Are we ok?"(he's smiling) and she just wants to wipe that smile off his face!
SANEM: "Yes, I guess, if you promise to behave." He put his hands up and promised.
They spent the rest of the afternoon putting everything away.
CAN: "would you like to go get some real good fish sandwiches?"
SANEM: Yes , I would , I can eat like 2 or 3 of them right now." Can just looks at her and smiles, " what? I love to eat! And then we can get some chocolate ice cream. Let's go! Because you starting to irritate me again." He just laughed grabbed her hand and went out to eat. They laughed like old friends. He loved her childhood stories. And stories from the neighborhood.
He took her home, and of course her mother was waiting for her.
MEVCABI: "child, how is it going with Can?"
SANEM: "I guess ok , I don't know mom, it's too soon."
MEVCABI: "Sanem, I saw the love in eyes for you, he will remember, don't worry. Just give him time."
SANEM: "mom , time for me is like one minute for you, but is one year for me." Tears are welling up in her eyes..
MEVCABI: "I promise you, everything will work out."
They went to bed, and Sanem cried all night.
That night Can got home from dinner with Sanem, His father and brother were waiting for him to have a drink.
AZIZ: "how was your day son? How do you feel?"
CAN: "i'm okay baba, just confused."
EMRE: "what are you confused about brother is something bothering you about Sanem?"
CAN: "I don't know, I'm trying to remember and I can't, I feel bad for her for sure, I know she hurting. I don't know what else to do."
AZIZ: "Can, that girl is special, you two were like a power couple I've never seen anything like it."
EMRE: "I agree, just give it some time you just got out of the hospital you were in a coma. It will take a while for you to get back to normal."
CAN: "I guess, well I'm tired, I'm off to bed good night!"
