I opened the door and stepped inside bhai's cabin but I quickly left the room as I entered. "Sorry." I yelled.

"Get in here Ved."

I shut my lips together and stepped in again and kept my eyes down.

"I am sorry, I should have nocked." I didn't have this habit, but now that bhai was married and bhabhi was here, I need to knock.

"No. You need not. This is your bhai's cabin. My presence should not change that." I looked at her dumbfounded and then shook my head.

"I am not interested in watching live porn with my brother's face on it." Bhai gave me a glare while bhbahi laughed. She was still leaning against his table on his side, facing him, but her head was tilted towards my side.

"Come on Ved. If that's the case, I shall remind myself to inform you or lock the door." I was shocked by her bluntness while bhai laughed his heart out looking at my expression.

"Oh my god. That was so good." He hi-fied her and held his stomach trying to contain his laughter.

"I—that—" No words came out of my mouth.

"Serves you right for messing with us." He proudly spoke.

"I didn't mean to." My voice immediately felt small and I was embarrassed. I should have never spoken like that. That came out wrong.

"Your bhai is messing with you. I am not offended." Her soft voice filled my ears and I looked up to see her. She was giving me a soft smile.

"I am sorry though." My voice was sincere.

"I know." She gestured to me to sit. "So, when are we meeting your girl?" I chuckled at her words.

"My girl? I am not so lucky bhabhi. I don't have a girl and no one seems to like me." I don't know why I felt like telling that.

"I like you Ved and I am a girl. Only if you disagree." She joked and I shook my head in denial seriously.

She nodded and smiled.

"You will find her soon, Ved. Something tells me." I hope so too. But at the same time I felt exhausted. I didn't want to do this anymore. I was done.

"Maybe."

"Is everything alright Ved?" Bhai asked me and I looked at him. His eyes conveyed his love for me and I felt so blessed in that moment. I took a deep breath and smiled. Taking in his features, he looked like Bade papa, just a more rugged version, which made him resemble my dad during my childhood. He just didn't look like that, he had long ago filled his place for me. He was a father to me, a friend, a brother and on top of everything, my world to me. Growing up all I wanted to be was him.

Perfect.

Just like him.

Perfect student like him.

Perfect son like him.

Perfect businessman like him.

Perfect man like him.

Maybe a perfect husband like him. One day.

"I am fine bhaiya." I answered him. He nodded but he didn't believe me. He leaned back in his chair and looked at me, waiting for me to change my answer. "It shall get better."

Bhabhi was the first one to break the silence.

"You guys look so much alike. In words and features. I am afraid I will not be able to differentiate between the two of you when we grow old and gray."
