Pestilence trained under Conquest for a rather long time, being taught how to fight, how to plan, how to think ahead and have some form of foresight to be able to know what she needs to do to win. She eventually would be able to meet the newer Conduits, such as Lykoi Themis and the Conduit of Ambitioj, Nolan. And needless to say, it is going very well for them. And for Pestilence, she thought that everything was going to go smoothly. Unfortunately, those happy times would eventually come to an end, when a terrible betrayal happened.
The Conduit of Passion, O'Brien, betrayed the Conduits and killed kids, and Pestilence had to witness it, along with the other Conduits, especially Ambition and Liminality, who goes over to beat him down, with Bastian, the Conduit of Power, also joining in to rescue O'Brien, and the both of them flee together. The moment that happened, Liminality and Nolan swore vengeance against then 2 traitorous Conduits. While Pestilence, she is not sure what to think anymore, and decided to be on her own for the time being. As she is on her own, Lykoi Themis gets to see her and speak to her, and talked a bit with her a bit on this sort of thing. Although Lykoi Themis is not much of a comforting sort of person, she does eventually talk through to Pestilence, which finally makes her see reason and move on. She decided to go back to the Conduits, but this time much more serious than ever, and will stick with them, especially with Conquest, who she wants to be with in teaching her what it means to fight, and hopes that she will be able to join the Conduit Horseman someday, so she can become more useful for the Conduits.
Appearance:
The Conduit of Pestilence is a humanoid entity that has pale skin and green hair. The veins of Pestilence are shown to be a dark brown and green color, due to the infections that is in her veins. She is shown wearing a black tank top with a black goth coat and green pants with brown boots. She has some pus and sores on her arms and neck, and sometimes can be seen wearing a plague doctor mask, and even wears a cloak that seems to have mushrooms and fungus all over the back.
Personality:
Pestilence, unlike the other horseman, has a bit more of a lively personality, being more warm and caring than the others. She is very polite and does not have a bad bone to say anything horrible to people unless they are someone that are enemies to the Conduits, or if they are traitors to the Conduits. She takes her training seriously, and although she was a bit afraid of what she can do, she eventually became more confident in herself and start to use her powers to aid the Conduits, despite how very destructive it is and how dangerous it is to others.
Powers and Abilities:
Pestilence's Lantern: Pestilence holds what seems to be a sort of lantern that spewed our green mist of some sort. This lantern is shown to be infused with Pestilence's power, allowing her to infect even other beings, from abomination to Eden's gods.
Infectious Mist: Pestilence possesses a sort of ability where she is constantly surrounded by mists of various pathogens and infections which she was able to learn to activate and shut off whenever she chooses. Because of this, unless one is a Conduit strong enough to resist her power or negate it, getting close to her is a dangerous risk.
Conduit of Pestilence: Being the embodiment of Pestilence, the Conduit of Pestilence has control over all aspects of pestilence and plague throughout the verse. As disease, infections, and outbreaks are constant with infections evolving, getting rid of pestilence is impossible.
Absolute Plague Manipulation: Pestilence can ingest and synthesize new plagues without harm, controlling the virulence and particular genetic markers. She is capable of combining or creating any disease that she likes, to the point where she can infect the very soul of the person or infect the very concept that they embody for dangerous effects.
Outbreak Trail: Whenever an outbreak is present, Pestilence is always present there to see it all happen, and is immune to the infections of the outbreak.
Relationships:
Conduit of Conquest: Pestilence is taught by Conquest how to fight, as the Conduit of Conquest sees a lot of potential in her. Pestilence does see Conquest as a sort of father figure in a way. But she would never admit to that sort of thing.
Conduit of Death: Although Pestilence is a bit unsure if going next to Death or even coming with him, since he sees himself as far too dangerous, Death and Pestilence are on speaking terms for a bit. When Life was killed, Death refuses to talk to Pestilence unless he wants to speak to her for something important. Pestilence, on the other hand, avoids Death and does not care what happens to him.
Conduit of Famine: Although Famine is very similar to Death in terms of his personality, surprisingly, Famine is able to get along very well with Pestilence, especially after Death's change in personality after the death of Life.
Conduit of War: Although the Conduit of War is bloodthirsty, she does train in Pestilence fairly and justly, if it at least means helping Conquest with trying to train her, since War can tell she needs it. War and Pestilence are able to get along with one another more than Pestilence's relationship with Famine.
Conduit of Life: The Conduit that Pestilence was somehow able to get along very well, Life treats Pestilence with kindness and understanding and is always encouraging in what to do, which made Pestilence happy to be able to meet her. She was distraught when O'Brien killed her.
Conduit of Purification: The daughter of Death and Radiance, Purification aided in helping Pestilence controlling her powers by using her powers to negate the infectious mist. Both Purification and Pestilence were able to get along very well with each other.
Conduit of Liminality: The oldest half-sibling of Purification and the child of Life and Death, Liminality and Pestilence do get along very well, and their relationship did not change after Death's change in personality following Life's murder.
Roaring Potentiality, Lykoi Themis: The daughter of Darkness and a strong female Abomination, Lykoi Themis and Pestilence have a very close sister bond of some sort, especially Lykoi Themis is one of the very few and rare people to be able to be able to first her infectious mist and not be affected by it. She is also the one to comfort her after she had witnessed the death of Life at the hands of O'Brien, who had betrayed the Conduits for what he had wants.
Conduit of Ambition: Nolan: The son of Knowledge and a monster in Reality 7, Nolan and Pestilence rarely interacted with each other, mainly because Nolan spent most of his time along and being a bookworm and getting along with O'Brien, who is sort of the same thing. When O'Brien betrayed the Conduits and Nolan was distressed and saddened by someone who he saw as a brother doing this, Pestilence and Nolan were able to properly interact, and after a bit of speaking to each other, they began to get along with each other. Eventually, they began to have a very good relationship with one another, with Nolan even wanting to study the types of pathogens and infections that she is able to make with her powers, as well as far it can go.
Notes:
Pestilence is one of the most dangerous Conduits, due to the fact that she can infect anyone, and her powers almost makes her close to getting to the point of having her status be a Forbidden Conduit.
Pestilence has a long way to go to join the horseman group.
The Conduit of Pestilence seems to like to eat sweet cold treats, such as a popsicle or ice cream.
Pestilence gets along with Conquest the most.
