Noah was dead

Everyone on the island knew and worst of all Cody was the one to find him everyone remembers hearing his scream and Gwen coming back carrying the unconscious boy informing them of the Indian-Canadians death setting a somber mood for the rest of the night

Duncan felt horrible especially when cody found out why noah was alone Cody to the ground sobbing wearing one of Noah's vests.

Cody wouldn't leave the cabin laying in Noah's bed staring blankly at the floor the campers took turns watching him and caring for him making sure he didn't harm himself some taking it more seriously than others

It was three days later the group was around the camp fire when Cody walked out sitting next to Gwen and Bridget he stared blankly at the fire nobody bothered him they were simply glad he had finally gotten up

Everyone spoke to each other trying to keep the mood up and not lose their sanity when they heard the crack of a stick breaking they all knew what it was everyone stood up some already running by the time the man came out from the trees

Cody ran ahead of Harold when he fell and Bridget helped him up watching as Harold ran faster and past the two Cody stopped running as soon as he heard her scream turning around watching as she was dragged towards the fire

He couldn't let it happen he lost his love but he wont let Geoff lose his, he ran over and stood in front of the fire "Don't kill her, kill me" the murderer stopped and let go of Bridget as she looked at Cody in horror

"I-i cant live anymore not without noah" he looked at the man with teary eyes "he was the last one you killed, the boy in the water please kill me let me join him and let her live" Bridget gasps hearing his words she knew she should run but she couldn't, she couldn't just leave Cody

The man stared down at the boy the horrible ski mask covering his face Cody stared back at him tears falling from his eyes waiting, hoping, for the man to kill him but all he did was shake his head and walk away back into the woods into the darkness.

The two teens sat in silence for a moment before Cody fell to his knees and began sobbing why hadn't the man killed him? Why would he let him live?

Bridget stared at cody before rushing over and hugging him she didnt know how to react all she did was hold the broken boy in her arms, the boy who saved her the boy who wanted nothing more than to die

The group returned shortly after realizing they had yet to hear any screams all shocked to see both of them alive yet unhappy, nobody was happy once they learned what happened even heather began to feel sympathy for the scrawny boy

It wasn't until the boy returned to his cabin where he finally stopped crying his sadness instead replaced with horror as he stared at the book on his bed dirty with blood and dirt stains and a note atop it written in blood reading

"I wont let you die"

Cody couldn't sleep that night.

It had been 2 weeks the small group of survivors finally were leaving the island using a boat that mysteriously appeared on the island with two teenagers named Alejandro and Sierra they all looked back at the island as they road away

Gwen, Duncan, Eva, Izzy, Cody, Bridget, and Katie

The only survivors if camp wawanakwa.

They were met with police when they arrived back home all taken to the hospital to be checked for injuries and illness, Cody still had the note he handed it to the police but kept the book hidden in his shirt

Many days later the police returned to his hospital room they had run a DNA test on the blood of the note, it was Noahs he had already suspected it but it hurt more hearing it from the police but with the painful information came good news

The killer had used his finger to write the note leaving his fingerprints on the paper, he had been identified and soon after arrested on the island during his attempt to escape it was a man none of the teens or their families knew

He was put on the death sentence

Cody didnt think that was good enough he wanted him to rot forever but he also knew that the spirits needed rest and they couldn't rest until the two were dead

He smiled at the mans execution watching the man be executed knowing that both of their killers were dead, that boat didnt come out of nowhere of course.
