'What.'   was Choi Jiseok's first thought as she appeared into the blank space.

Next was 'Am I dead? Is this...? The afterlife..? Has my retribution come..? Hah. I'm beginning to sound like Blade already... I played way too much Honkai...' 

Choi Jiseok looked around. Well, she thought she did, since everything looked the same - everything as in nothing, because there was nothing in the first place - 

And Choi Jiseok floated. For an indescribable amount of time. During that time she thought, 'My wasted tteokbokki and Yakult... What will happen to them now?'     'Man, so am I gonna stay here for the rest of my life? No. Wait, I AM dead so... Does that mean-' 

"Ah 💩" said a voice that definitely wasn't her's. Choi Jiseok snapped her head back in the direction of the sound. 

Slowly, bit by bit, a young boy appeared. He was shining. Literally.  Choi Jiseok couldn't see his face because of the brightness, but his attire was very intricate and other-worldly. 

Seemingly, the boy groaned and spoke.

"Greetings. Lost soul. I see you've died." 

Flipping through a thick book that seemed to appear out of nowhere, he rubbed his non-existent nose.

"Huh, interesting. It seems there was an error in the 'System'. You are Choi Jiseok of planet Earth-1069 correct?"

Choi Jiseok raised her brow, "I guess?" 'Ah🦆ck. Am I not able to got to hell? Or even heaven? Will I be stuck here for the rest of eternity and be forgotten?! For kicking a cat into the drain because it scratched my Blade plushie?! OH NAUR-"

"It seems that you weren't supposed to die today-" The boy mused. 

"What." She scowled. "The hell do you mean!? I wasn't supposed to ☠️?! Bro. I got yeeted by a truck. I need to grind for BLADE. He JUST came home yesterday!! I worked so hard to get him! Do you even know the pain of getting a character you love the MOST and NOT being able to shower him with love and affection?!"

The boy sweat-dropped "Well - erm, I will try my best to compensate you, miss Choi. You see, there was a glitch, a virus in the 'System' so when we were fixing it, some parts were corrupted and an anomaly happened-"

"Hol' up." Choi Jiseok rubs her forehead and frowned. "So I died, got yeeted in the 🍑 by a       🦆cking pick up truck, lost the privileges to build and shower Bladie with LOVE, all because of a damned error in whatever 💩 system you're not doing properly?!"
 She stormed toward the boy to grab his collar, an her hand seemed to past through him, like he was a ghost. 

Choi Jiseok flinched, pulled her hand back and scowled. "I want compensation! You better come up with some good typa 💩 to make up for me!" 

"I sincerely apologize to you miss Choi, but I will be unable to give you back your former life-" He stuttered. "Instead, I can send you to another world to start over, with your current stats and appearance."

"Elaborate. What do you mean, "stats" and "start over"? Don't tell me.. Are you trying to put me in a video game or what?" Choi Jiseok crossed her arms.

"It will be similar. But the only way for us to let you continue on with your life and well, live, is to send you to another parallel to yours. I have contacted the higher ups and they have allowed me to let you keep your memories. As for further information," the boy flipped through his mysterious book "will be revealed as you 'continue on with your life'. We will contact you and will try our best to assist you on your, erm, journey, as your situation is a first, and the 'system' has never had this problem before."

"Yeah, yeah.. What about my things? Will they be gone too? can't I at least be still able to use my phone? Am I going to reincarnate or something?"

"Well, dear esteemed miss. I don't know either, this has never happened before. Since you're going to jump into another world, I will be your guide." 

And with that, the mysterious boy shoved Choi Jiseok into a portal that appeared under her.
