"Your little heroines are very pretty. I spoke to them today. The redhead is very mysterious and is definitely hiding something," Prince Adam murmurs into Belle's hair.
"Just like you are," Belle mutters and gasps when her remark is met with a slap across the face from Adam.
The two of them are lying on his bed side-by-side. It would have been romantic, Belle thinks, if she wasn't chained to the bed beside her kidnapper. The prince had his arms around her in a tight hug and was breathing into her dark brown hair. His breath was warm and heavy on her neck and she shifted uncomfortably every time he tried to push his body closer to her.
"Stop fighting me, slave, you are mine and have no say in this," the prince growls into her ear and she shivers in fear.
"Please don't hurt the two who are trying to save me. They don't understand that they are in terrible danger," Belle pleads.
"Your little friends are getting too close to figuring out who it is who has kidnapped you," Prince Adam tightens his grip around her.
"I'll do anything, just don't hurt them," Belle cries.
"Anything, you say?," Prince Adam's eyebrow lifts.
"Anything," Belle gulps.
"Fine, I will just lead them off my trail. In turn you must promise to listen and obey my every wish," Adam smirks.
"Agreed," Belle's eyes start to fill with tears with all the thoughts and nightmares he will put her through now that she has promised to listen.
