Simon x Ruby: Dawn of the Kaijus

A Call For Help

Simon: Well what can you guys say I'll get some food to eat?

Noah: Sure thing.

Everyone soon took a rest near a rocky cliff.

Earl: Alright then, how much as we getting here?

Simon: 2 in a half miles.

Ruby: I'm beat.

Rodan: Hey, this looks like a good spot to rustle up some fruits.

Angilas soon went in a circle by himself to take a rest, and Rodan soon flies near the mountains. Simon soon walks off to find food, which his sister and brothers noticed that.

Ruby: Brother?

Simon: (stops and looks back) I, uh... I need to find food for you guys. You go on ahead. I'll catch up.

Simon soon walks off to find food. Ruby soon spotted a Hollow Earth Berries not to far away from her. She then picks it up, and starts eating it, not knowing what Simon could have done such a nice thing to do. While Noah was wondered by himself as Earl soon stuck with Ruby, he soon noticed a flock of giant condors flying over something. Confused, he went over to the spot. When he got to the canyon, he was shocked to see a dead Argentinosaurus, which is why there were three Skullcrawlers eating the corpse. He hides behind a log so they won't noticed him.

Noah: (whispering) They were so lucky.

One of the Skullcrawlers heard a sound, looks around, but then it continues for its feast. Noah suddenly have an idea, he could set up an ambush to kill them. Elsewhere, Simon is walking to water. He looks over left and right, but everything was clear, just some vine snakes observing him. He then dives into the water to catch some aquatic fauna. A couple of dolphins swam by him, which he bellowed in pleasure. Simon soon spotted two of the Shonisaurus swimming by, having a busy day. He stayed low for a hunt the marine reptiles. But just as he was about to hunt them, a massive sharks soon ambushed him from below.

Daku (Drawing is not mine)

The apex predator of the seas was biting on his leg, causing Shonisaurus to swam away in terror. He kicked one of them away in the face with his foot. Daku soon roared at him, as another one soon attacked from behind. Simon soon tail slammed the shark, with other beast soon sliced him with a spikes on its tail. The gojira soon roared out in pain, as the 2nd Daku headbutted him into a seaweed, causing him to get tangled, and can't get out. Two of the sharks soon roared in temporarely victory, as one of them used its tail to knock a sharp rock to kill and eat our protagonist. However, before it could hit him, someone caught the sharp rock and used it to cut the seaweed, freeing the King of the Titans. Simon then growled in anger at the sharks, but then he looked to it who saved him and...

Simon: Wait. Is that...?

???: The new girl. Oh, my gosh. Hey~

...It was a mermaid, underwater without any equipment to help her breathe. She had wavy knee-length red hair, fair skin, and pale blue eyes. She also has light blue nail polish.

Simon: Chelsea? How did you even get down here?

Chelsea: Guess what...

The mermaid revealed her bottom half. Her lower half is now a turquoise mermaid tail with red at the tips of it.

Chelsea: I'm a fintastic mermaid! I'd figured that I owed you an underwater rescue since I kinda, sorta, got 100% credit for yours.

The Daku duo soon roared at both of them as they rushed forward to attack them.

Chelsea: We should get fight or, like, die. Your call.

Simon soon agreed as they swam away, but not before the gojira fired a single charge up of his heat ray, hitting at one of the shark titan. Soon they swam away, and never bothering him every again. As the two residents swam together, Simon was still processing Chelsea's true identity.

Simon: Ok. I still can't believe you're a...

Chelsea: A ten with a fin? A fish come true? A mermaid? Ooh, I can't believe I can finally have a friend to share things with. A super titan bestie.

Simon: Look, thanks for what you did, but I started this day thinking that my survival.

Chelsea: I was just trying to be save your life.

Simon then sighed heavily as Chelsea looked at him in concerned.

Simon: I'm only brave when I have to be. Being brave doesn't mean I'm go looking for trouble.

Chelsea: But you're not scared of anything.

Simon: I was today.

Chelsea: You were?

Simon: Yes. I thought I could have died from that. Now, I got a whole lot more going on. So I just need to go hunting and go home.

The gojira then swam off, leaving the mermaid offended.

Chelsea: Look, I just thought we had a lot in common, but if you're gonna be salty about it, then bye-bye.

Simon: You know we can meet again, right?

Chelsea: Sure thing.

Chelsea swam off in the other direction. Simon looked back, but didn't go after the mermaid and went on his hunt he originally planned.

Later that evening, Simon brought a two Megalodons for Angilas and Rodan after his hunt.

Rodan: Thank god I was hungry for food.

Angilas: Finally.

He looked to his left, and saw Ruby was asleep, while Noah and Earl were eating a Skullcrawlers Noah had killed, resting near the perfect fireplace Ruby have made.

Noah: Hey bro.

Earl: Ruby was asleep Simon.

Simon then went over to the fireplace and lied down near his brothers.

Noah: Look at that big pushover. You know,  Earl, I've never had a friend who would risk his life for me.

Earl: Yeah, Simon's...is a good guy.

Noah: Yeah, he is. Well, good night.

Noah, along with Angilas and Rodan fell asleep. Earl looks at the moon worriedly before went to sleep as well.
