The dinosaurs looked at Buck really confused.
"Hold on to your butts."
Buck sang again. But this time louder, causing rocks to fall off the cliffs. The dinosaurs panicked and tried flying away. The rocks fell on top of the dinosaurs. Buck and the egg stayed unharmed. Behind him, the cliff looked like Buck. A coconut fell right into Buck's paw. He took a slurp of the drink.
Buck sighed and threw the drink away, "Good egg."
Suddenly, there was an explosion behind him. And Buck didn't even flinch. There was heard a dinosaur whine. from behind the bushes ran the egg's mother. Buck smiled and walked up to her, presenting her egg.
"Here you are, my lady."
The dinosaur seemed to smile and licked Buck's face as 'thank you. The egg popped open and the baby kissed Buck's cheek. Buck laughed softly, but his smile disappeared when he heard groaning.
"Go! I'll lead them away.", whispered Buck.
The dinosaurs popped their heads out from under the rocks. The older male growled at Buck. Who tied a vine around the rock.
Buck smiled, "Oh, that was fun! Same time, same place, next week? Toodles!"
The rock fell and Buck was flicked into the air, laughing like a maniac.
The male glared, "Congratulations, weasel. You just signed your death warrant."
Meanwhile, Buck was still gliding in the air.
"Weaseled my way out of that one.", said Buck.
There was an explosion above. He looked and saw fireworks above the ice.
"Hmm. What's all that flash and dazzle about?"
Suddenly, he crashed into a rock.
"Who puts a rock in the middle of the jungle?"
He fell down. Though instead of falling to the ground he slid down a tunnel while screaming. Before he hit the ground, he caught a vine. Buck hummed as he looked around curiously. There was another tunnel with light coming out of it. He went towards it while hiding. Then, he pointed his knife forward. But nothing happened. Buck sniffed the air and continued walking. He entered some kind of hall.
"Blimey...What is this place?"
While looking around he carried on walking. Suddenly, he stepped on something and it moved.
"Oops."
Then, something started rising from the ground in the middle of the hall. Buck looked at it with amazement. That something looked like a tower with pictures on it. Once it stopped moving, Buck walked up to it. He eyed one of the pictures before gasping.
Summer's pov.
We've waited in the dark long enough. I could still feel Simba, Nala, and Dexter close to me and Diego. Manny and Diego went and moved the fallen trees. We walked out and looked around. Everything was destroyed. My kids gasped. The place where they grew up was gone. We walked over to a cliff and looked at our home. I heard my kids whimper.
"Mommy, what now?", asked Nala.
I sighed and was about to answer. But a roar beat me to it. We looked to the side. There was a giant hole in the ice with steam coming out of it. We all looked at each other before walking towards it. Manny looked down at it.
"Uhh, hello?"
There was an echo. There was a roar again and a shadow. Manny screamed and backed away. I pressed myself to Diego and our kids got close to us. Sid also screamed and hugged Shadow. Suddenly, a familiar weasel appeared. He looked up at us and smiled.
"Oh! Hello, mammals.", said Buck.
The possums smiled.
"Hi, Buck.", greeted Eddie.
Buck struggled to pull a rope. He smiled again and said 'hi' back. Suddenly, he was pulled down in the hole.
Crash waved, "Bye, Buck."
Then a rope was thrown over the knife.
"Um, a little help."
Manny pulled the rope with all his might. Before some kind of tower flew up with Buck. The tower fell and Buck crashed into it before falling down.
"Right on the spleen! Utterly useless, but totally hurts."
I smiled and walked up to him with Diego, my kids, and Slash too.
"Hey, Buck. Welcome back, buddy.", exclaimed Diego.
"Wait.", spoke Slash, "This half-a-snack is the dinosaur whisperer?"
Buck quickly ran up to stand next to Slash.
"And expert salsa dancer."
Buck started dancing randomly.
"Cool~", expressed Simba.
Buck walked in front of my kids and smiled at them. He looked up at me and Diego.
"I knew you'd end up having a family."
"Wow. You have a patch.", expressed Dexter.
"Yeah.", assured Buck, "I have one eye but all my original teeth. Would you like to count them?"
Buck opened his mouth to my kids. I raised an eyebrow. Simba and Dexter backed away behind Nala. Of course, let the girl handle it. Note the sarcasm.
"No, thank you.", stated Nala.
Buck snapped his head somewhere. He immediately climbed up Julian and turned to Peaches.
"And this must be...Nectarine."
"Um...Peaches.", corrected Peaches.
"Semantics, my dear. I am deeply honored.", stated Buck and kissed Peaches' trunk.
"Sweet eye patch.", spoke Julian, "Very gangsta."
Buck laughed, "Thank you. I like this kid."
"Buck.", exclaimed Manny, "What are you doing here?"
"Well, I..."
Buck looked at a stump and went towards it.
"What? I'm trying! But how do you tell someone they're doomed?", spoke Buck, "He's stumped."
Manny frowned, "We're not doomed, Buck. It was just a meteor shower, and the show's over."
Buck jumped on Manny's face, "Oh, quite the contrary, old chap. It's just beginning. You see, I found a prophecy."
