I found myself taking a deep, heavy breath while I looked out the window petrified. The second I step out of this car everything changes. Elliot and I are in it for the long haul after this. We closed on the house, papers signed, keys in hand, Shawn and Juliet were already there with the moving truck, Sophie and Nate were here directing furniture deliveries.

Elliot and I were the last ones to show up, we'd stopped off for food. For a couple quiet moments as husband and wife before everything changed. After this, we weren't on our own anymore. We were parents, we were normal PTA people.

"Carter, you look like you're about to puke." Elliot teased as we sat in the car watching everyone.

"What if this was a mistake? All of it? What If we totally fucked up and we ruin their lives?" I asked starting to have a panic attack.

"Car, look at me." Elliot said smiling as he brushed my hair from my face. "I love you, this isn't a mistake, stop freaking out so much."

"Don't ever tell Beth or the twins I said that." I sighed as my heart rate lowered. The wave of panic fading for the moment.

"You're just scared. You never got the best example of what life was supposed to be. You have to learn, and that's okay. It's okay to be scared. That means you care enough to get it right." Elliot's smile was the only thing I needed to reassure me as I shook my head laughing at myself.

"Let's do this Elliot. Time to be the people we always should've been." I sighed opening the door as he scrambled out to help me from my seat. My ever growing belly made it harder and harder to get in and out of the car. Before long we'd have to be SUV people.

I waddled over to find Sophie yelling at the movers for dropping the couch as Elliot ran to intervene. The hormones were really kicking in for her and she was way too invested in our move. I just chuckled as Juliet walked up wrapping her arm around my shoulder.

"They're lucky they're cute or I'd totally ask you to leave your husband for me." Juliet joked looking at Shawn goofing off rolling around on the dolly.

"We've got time, we could run now, well you could run, I can quickly waddle behind you." I snickered leaning into her. "Has he been that much of an idiot all day?"

"He broke that lamp we got at the flea market. The one with the roses, I don't think I'll ever forgive him for it." Juliet informed me as we started walking over to join them.

"Shawn!" I shouted getting his attention as he stopped midway down the walkway still playing on the dolly. "Did you break our favorite lamp?"

"Yeah about that Cinnabun, I'll get you a new one." He admitted scrunching up like he was ready for me to hit him.

I just sighed walking past him with Juliet, the two of us were still holding onto each other. I don't think Shawn has gotten used to us still being so physical after the week we spent making everyone question our sexualities. That one really messed with his head and I don't blame him, it messed with mine to honestly. But Juliet and I never seemed to let anything get between us.

"So Jules, about what you said last night, did you really know about our past?" I asked as we walked into the house where we could hear my dads voice mixed with Henry's echoing through as they directed boxes.

"I suspected something when you showed up. I did some digging, I found your dad and put pieces together from there. I couldn't be sure I was right, but I also didn't disagree with what Nate was doing." She confessed as we walked upstairs to start getting the bedrooms unpacked.

"You didn't tell Lassiter?" I asked as we walked into me and Elliot's room since everything was already unloaded in here.

"Nope, I never plan to either. There's some things he's better off not knowing." She sighed letting go of me to start opening boxes. "You know, it's funny, I always thought I was straight."
