"Shall we have this dance, Prince Kamishiro?"

The figure's eyes noticeably widened at the sight of his old friend pointing a sword directly at him. "What business do you have in my Kingdom, Tenma?" He asked stubbornly, lurching closer to the latter, preparing a harmful spell to shoot towards him. "You see, my friend, it has been brought to my attention that you could be planning something against my people, and I'm here to stop it" Prince Tsukasa had a dangerous look plastered across his face. "What gave you that idea? Or is this another stupid excuse of yours to destroy my kingdom?" Prince Kamishiro began to pace the area around the Luminarian boy as he spoke. "You think I'm stupid, don't you?"
"Be careful, little prince.." The violet haired began in a mocking tone. "Obscuria isn't a place for people who are scared of the dark."

Kanade Yoisaki had never really feared fighting, however she enjoyed avoiding being sent out to battle whenever she could, which wasn't often. Being regarded as one of the highest trained in the kingdom after training alongside the prince himself and a few others, she knew more than anyone that she could handle herself. Her long grey hair was tied back into a braid that cascaded down the back of her white shirt, the standard attire of Luminarian knights. "What's this little girl doing here?" She could hear a voice behind her, leading her to jump behind a tree to get a better idea of who it was and how many of them were there. With skilled precision, she poked her head out ever so slightly to see three, tall, muscular soldiers dressed in dark clothing and seemingly unarmed. "Please help me! I don't know where my mommy is!" Kanade squealed in a childish tone. "No kids should be out on the battlefield, how did she get this far away from Nexarion town?" A higher pitched voice added. "Hey, kid, we work here, we can get you back to Nexarion safely, it's not good for you to be here!" The original speaker shouted in her direction. What the three soldiers hadn't realised, however, was that their supposed 'child' had snuck behind them, and they had fallen right into her trap. Throwing herself forward, she managed to get her sword around one of the shorter knight's necks, causing the other two to skip slightly forward, putting some distance between them. "My mother has been dead since I was seven, idiots."
She suddenly slit the throat of the shorter male, ready to dodge the attack that the other two had been planning the whole time she was there. "What you two don't realise, is that you are easily readable. You weren't sure if I would actually kill him" She leaped behind a tree as two spells were blasted past her. "And therefore gave me a chance to see that you were going to attack and how you would do it, take it as advice," She warned, manoeuvring herself closer to the knight closest to her, stabbing her blade through his chest. "Expect the worst and you'll never be underprepared."

"You bitch! That was my brother!!" The final knight roared, his eyes swelling with tears. "Hm, maybe you should've been better prepared! Would you like to see him?" Kanade smiled eerily, tilting her head to the side as she did. "You think you're so tough, huh?! HUH?! I will end-"
He was cut off by many lights hitting his back, his blood spewing onto the ground in front of him, causing him to drop to his knees. Kanade began to take a few steps back as a monstrous figure made its way in her direction, holding her sword out towards it. "Drop your sword, Soldier of the Light, I mean no harm." The figure spoke calmly. "Who are you then?"
Stepping out of the shadows of the large forest over their heads revealed a young woman who didn't look much older than Kanade herself, her eyes glistening in the sunlight that seeped through the small cracks of the leaves. "General Mafuyu Asahina, but that doesn't matter at this time" The lady with the short purple hair spoke. "Are you injured?" She asked. "Um.. no, I'm not, only a few scratches, but other than that, why are you here? Shouldn't you be off fighting everyone else?" Kanade quizzed her, growing tenser with the lack of explanation that the dark knight was giving her. "I could fight you, but why would I? I want to leave this hell, and I believe you can help me" She said simply. "So you're using me and expecting me to trust you in our kingdom? That's laughable. Someone with such a rank wouldn't betray their kingdom for such a pathetic reason, is this just your King's plan then? Infiltrate us and attack us when vulnerable?" Kanade let out a laugh before her face turned cold and stern as she held out her sword. "I believe you've met your match" She declared. "That's quite cute, however you Luminarians don't know what it's like over here, there's more to Obscuria than meets the eye, you who come from perfection wouldn't understand. And it is our Prince who controls the attacks, the King is practically a lost cause" General Asahina described. "And how can I trust your word?" The grey haired soldier continued to inquire, still not believing what she was saying. "Because I could be killed for saying that, and I know someone over the border who can confirm everything that I'm saying"
"If you're attempting to bring Akiyama into this by playing the 'friend' card, I wouldn't bother, they serve the light, not whatever sort of circus that's being run here" She scolded. "I'm not, I'm just implying that they understand what I mean, and if you don't trust me you can-"
