The Legacy Of 2144: The Beginning

After managing to defeat the Brute, Justin and Zachary joined Atlas Military after I persuaded them to join. For Destructorbot, Commander Mark and Professor Hiroshi discussed about him. "What? You want Destructorbot? The defender of TechHaven and my creation?" Professor Hiroshi asked, shocked by Commander Mark's request. "Yes, professor. Think about it, you did mention that this robot hasn't been in battle for years, right? With Atlas, your creation, Destructorbot, will be able to aid us in the battle against multiple large monsters and supernatural beings. Is that not your dream, Professor Hiroshi?" Professor Hiroshi, upon hearing the offer, was a little hesitant but accepted the offer nevertheless. "Indeed, Commander Mark. It was my dream. However, I have a request." "Speak your mind, professor." Commander Mark nodded, looking at Professor Hiroshi with a serious expression. "As you could probably tell...Destructorbot is now heavily damaged during the battle against that giant mutant earlier. I was hoping that...if you could, please take good care of him, alright?" Commander Mark, hearing Professor Hiroshi's worry, smiled firmly at him. "Professor, I assure you that your marvellous creation would be in great hands. We will get him fixed, and if you like, we would add in an extra something to make sure he doesn't get hurt easily." Professor Hiroshi raised an eyebrow at what Commander Mark proposed. "An extra something? To prevent him from getting hurt in the future? I'm intrigued." Professor Hiroshi replied, raising an eyebrow.  As Commander Mark whispered his brilliant plan to Professor Hiroshi, his eyes lit up. "Of course! A forcefield! Commander, you have answered my problem of preventing my creation from further harm! Please, do that!" Commander Mark chuckled and nodded his head. "Consider that done. I will have my brilliant engineers to instore that."

Destructorbot gladly joined Atlas upon hearing about the missions and upgrades that Commander Mark was willing to give him. Atlas was also now at a greater advantage after Professor Hiroshi and Commander Mark decided to become allies. Commander Mark was given blueprints of Hiroshi's robots, and at the same time, Professor Hiroshi was given the blueprints behind how to make a forcefield. Justin and Zachary both introduced themselves to the other Atlas Soldiers and were warmly welcomed. As days went by, Destructorbot was in excellent condition and was given a forcefield system, as promised by Commander Mark. He now patrols Atlas Military from harm. Justin and Zachary's strength gradually increased due to the intensive training they went through. As the two gradually became stronger, Commander Mark eventually gave us our next mission. "Listen attentively, you 3. Your next mission would not be that simple, so listen closely." Commander Mark warned. "Based on what I had heard on the game news, a new threat has been spotted in the Forest Of Darkness. This creature is vicious, and is our next target and mini-boss that we must eliminate." Upon hearing that the mission that awaits us is a dangerous one, I felt a weight on my shoulders. "What is this creature you speak of, Commander?" I asked. Commander Mark took in a deep breath and replied: "The King Of Wendigoes, Jack. Yes, it appears that the wendigoes that we fought before have a king." I gasped upon hearing that. "Wait, hold on. Jack, you have gone into the Forest Of Darkness before? Have you got any idea how dangerous it is?!" Justin suddenly exclaimed, hearing my conversation with Commander Mark. "Yeah, I do. It was military training that I had in the past- forget about the details for now! Commander, where is this...King Of Wendigoes located?" I asked as my facial expression gradually turned serious. Commander Mark nodded and replied: "At the very end of the forest, so I heard. There is a cave, and that is where the Wendigoes reside." I sighed, holding my head. "Okay, so at the very end of the damn forest. Great. I gotta fight through a bunch of Ogres, Goblins, Forest Banshees and even giant bugs to get there. Yep, this isn't going to be easy, alright." I grumbled. "Even wendigoes, but look, Jack. You have a team of 2 powerful heroes at your side, who got your back. So what's there to worry about, hmm?" Zachary asked as he placed his hand on my back, smiling reassuringly. "Yeah, but don't come running to me when you start finding your ass being handed to you by a Wendigo, alright?" I teased. "Pfft. Like that's ever gonna happen!" Zachary yelled in reply.
