It has been two weeks since Aryan left for an onsite meeting in the US. After our date night, the next morning, Aryan flew to the US. These two weeks felt very different. It has been just a month since our marriage, but his presence made much difference in my life.

Though I too was surrounded by a lot of work, every minute I missed him.

Though daily before sleeping we talk through video calls, I miss his warmth.

He said he will be back in almost two days. I can't wait to see him.

A knock on my door disturbs my chain of thoughts.

"Come in."

"Bhabhi!!!! Are you free tonight?" Riya barges through the door.

"Yeah. Why are you running like this? Any problem?"

I walk up to her and make her sit on the chair.

"Naah bhabhi, nothing. Wait! Do you have any meetings now? I am so sorry for showing up unannounced at your office."

"No, no. You can come here whenever you want. Now tell me. What happened? Any problem?"

"Nooooo. Actually, the thing is, my friend is hosting a party tonight. And you know, mumma will never allow me alone to party. Can you accompany me? Coz I don't want to take Aakash with me, as once we go there he will forget me and start flirting with my friends." Riya pouts.

In this one month, I became so close with these guys. Aakash and Riya are being like the friends I always yearned for.

"Please say yes, bhabhi!!! Pretty pretty please."

"Okay *chuckle* just wait here for 30 minutes, I will complete the remaining work and then we will leave for the party. You inform chachi and Ma." I pat her head.

After half an hour, we leave for the party. The club looks pretty good and lavish.

"Heeyyyyy Riya!"

"Hey Pooja."

Riya hugs a girl, who might be around her age.

"Meet my bhabhi, bhabhi, this is Pooja. She is the one who is hosting the party tonight."

I shake my hands with hers.

"Come on, everyone is there. Let's go" Pooja smiles and leads our way.

"What's the occasion for this party?" I whisper to Riya.

"Oh. Her boyfriend's birthday" Riya whispers back.

"Boyfriend. Huh?" I raise my eyebrow and look at her.

"Stop looking like that, bhabhi. I am single. I don't have any boyfriend. Trust me. Pakka promise."

"Fine fine. I believe you." I laugh.
