Ana stood on the rooftop, her target in sight. The night air was cool against her skin as she took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come.
With silent grace, Ana made her way across the rooftops, her footsteps barely making a sound. She reached the edge of the building and peered down at the busy street below, where her target was making his way through the crowd.
As she took aim, her heart hammered in her chest. She pulled the trigger and watched as her target fell to the ground, lifeless.
But as Ana made her escape, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was her best friend, Sophia, who had been tasked with aiding her on this mission. But something had gone wrong, Sophia had miscalculated and Drekov doesn't do mistakes.
Ana's heart shattered as she saw Sophia lying motionless on the ground, her eyes open and unmoving. Tears filled Ana's eyes as she knelt beside her friend, whispering apologies and regrets into the night. That was the night Ana new she was going to get out and make Drekov pay.
Ana gasped as she jolted awake, her heart was racing, and her body was covered in a sheen of cold sweat. The vivid images of her dream still lingered in her mind; the loss of her best friend weighed heavily on her soul.
She lay there in the darkness, trying to catch her breath and calm the storm of emotions that raged inside her. The dream had felt so real, a stark reminder of the dark path she had been forced to walk and the toll it had taken on her.
The sun came up as Ana got up from bed pushing the thoughts of her dream and the date behind her and focused on the day ahead.
Elijah came to her mind instead the way he had comforted and helped her as she sat sewing herself up after the ruckus a couple of days ago not pushing an answer out of her or even asking a single question.

Ana had gotten ready and sat in her kitchen eating breakfast when her phone rang. She picked it up instantly when seeing the name of the caller.
"Elena to what do I owe this pleasure." Ana said while putting away her dishes.
"Rose got bit by a werewolf, and I need your help." Elena spoke quietly.
Anastasia stopped.
Are you kidding.
"You mean the same rose that kidnapped us." Ana questioned.
"You've been out of the loop for a couple of days, I promise I will fill you in when you get here."
