??The Shooting Star??

"Man, the stars are beautiful tonight."

There on Greenhill stood the great hero of Mobius himself Sonic the hedgehog and his friends.

"I heard that there's going to be a metor shower tonight, so maybe we will be able to see it." said the yellow fox with two tails.

"Wow, really, that's going to be so amazing to see!" The pink hedgehog turned to look at the hero. "Wouldn't you agree, Sonic." Sonic looked at her and gave her a nod in agreement, then looked back to the sky of stars.

"Yeah, it definitely would be something to see." Sonic said.

"Guys, look, it's starting!!!" The two tailed called out, pointing to the sky.

The two hedgehogs looked up to see the flying stars pass by. "Oh, I should make a wish!" The pink hedgehog looked at a start and closed her eyes while putting her hands together.

"Really Amy a wish you know most of these things do even come true, right?" Sonic said, looking at the exiticed hedgehog next to him.

Amy looked at him in with disapproved eyes. "Yeah, well, I'll have you know that I like wishing on stars." Amy turned her hear back to the shooting stars. " You should try it sometimes. Maybe your wish would come true."

"She's right, Sonic." The small fox looked at his hero. "They may not come true, but it does hurt to try sometimes."

Sonic looked away from both of them to look at the flying stars. Sonic had always thought they were beautiful, but not once has he tried to wish on one. Many people have told him that they never came true, so he didn't really see the point in wishing if it only ended in nothing. Sonic looked back at his friends only to see them look back at him.

"Well, are you going to make a wish, Sonic?"

It took him a minute to think but couldn't help but give into their pleads. "Fine, I'll do it, but just this once okay." His friends looked at him with excitement. Sonic looked back at the sky and said. "I wish for something exciting to happen."

"Really, Sonic, that's what you wish for." Amy said with her arms crossed. "Give him a break Amy ever since Eggman disappeared. Sonic has been bored out of his mind for weeks." Tails said while looking at Amy.

Amy looked at tails. "Of course he is whenever Eggman is gone even for a day, he gets restless." Amy turned to Sonic. "Why can't you just relax and enjoy the moments with your friends."

Sonic looked at Amy with a hesitant look. "Well, it's not like I don't enjoy these moments it's just that it gets a little boring around here, is all." He said while scratching the back of his quills with a sheepish look.

"Sonic, are you saying that I'm boring to you!"

Sonic jumped. "What no Amy I didn't say that. I just meant that with Eggman gone, it's just been a little dull." Realization hit Sonic. "Wait, no, that came out wrong." Sonic hand is hands up trying to calm the now angered Amy.

"So you're saying that I'm dull now!"

"No Amy please you know that's not what I meant."

"Oh, so then what do you mean then, huh!"

"I...well."

"GUYS, LOOK!!!"

Both hedgehog ls turned their heads at Tails, who was pointing at the sky. Sonic turned to look up, only to see a star coming down towards them. With quick thinking, Sonic grabbed both tails and Amy and dashed away from the now falling star. When Sonic felt that they were a good distance away, he stopped letting go of these friends and quickly looked back at the falling star.
