Smiling Critters (Season 2) (CatNapxDogDay)

Hey everyone I hope you all are excited for season 2!!! Anyway this episode will be told from the POV of DogDay, I hope you all enjoy!!!

"I love you DogDay...", CatNap says still holding my hand. I don't know what to say, we continue looking at each other. I feel so happy, my tail is wagging like crazy.  I lean over to kiss him until suddenly...

CatNap sitting in front of me starts shouting, "WAKE UP!!". "What?", I thought to myself. CatNap yells "Wake Up", again. Suddenly I see a red mist surrounding me and CatNap and everything goes black.  I sit up on the couch and look around. CatNap is asleep across from me at the other end of the couch and towering over me is Kicken shouting. "Finally you're awake dude", he chuckles. Was that all a dream?, I thought. "We've been trying to wake you and CatNap for almost twenty minutes", Bobby said while crossing her arms, "Breakfast is ready". "Breakfast?", I commented "Yeah, Picky woke up early and made us all breakfast everyone else is in the kitchen and we didn't want to start eating without you or CatNap. But I dont think CatNap will be waking up anytime soon", she replied. I look over at CatNap who was still asleep at the other end, "Let's let him sleep for now and come back later on, it's almost impossible to wake him when he's asleep", I chuckled. The three of us walk out of the living room and into the kitchen. I look at the table and there's waffles, eggs, and hashbrowns on it. 

We all begin to eat breakfast and start talking about what we'd all do today. "We should all go to Melody and play a game of football", Hoppy cheered. "Nah we should play manthunt", Kicken exclaimed. Everyone was thinking of ideas of what to do that day while DogDay sat there quiet thinking about his dream. What was that dream about, I thought to myself. Why was there red mist or some sort of gas surrounding us? "Hey Dogday", a voice calls out. I look up and see everyone looking at me, "Yes?", I respond stuttering a little. "We all decided to go to Lively and have a lake day", Bubba stated. "How does that sound to you", Picky asked. "Oh that sounds great, but I think I'm gonna stay here, I didn't get a lot of sleep last night. Also I'm gonna keep CatNap company because I don't think he's going to get up soon", I chuckled. "Alright", Hoppy says while getting up, "You know where to find us". We all finish our breakfast and everyone besides myself and CatNap leave the house. 

I wave goodbye to everyone as they leave and then close the door. I turn around and see CatNap still in the same position as when I woke up. I walk over and sit next to him on the couch. I began poking his arm, "Pssst CatNap", I said quietly. CatNap in response purs and groans a little.  I shake him a little. CatNap slowly opens his eyes and looks at me, "Yes?", he asked half-awake. "Sorry, the others left to Lively Lake and I was just wondering if you were going to go there too?", I asked nervously. CatNap shook his head, "No I think I'll just be here, me and water don't go together", he mutters. "Oh alright I'll stay here with you", I said cheerfully. "What do you want to do?".  "Sleep", he replied. "I think you got enough sleep CatNap. Cmon let's go out and get some fresh air", I cheered. CatNap groaned in response. I kneel down next to him and put my hands together, "Pleasssee", I begged. "Oh alright", he sighs. "YAY!". 

CatNap and I leave my house and walk to the signpost. "Hm where should we go?", I asked myself. I scan the post until I see the sign that says "Pal Pond". "Cmon let's go to Pal Pond", I said excitedly, "There are so many fish we can see!". "Alright let's go", CatNap yawned, still sounding a little tired. We both get onto the path and make our way to Pal Pond. 

We arrive at Pal Pond, I havent been here in a while, I thought to myself. CatNap sits at the bench in front of the pond while I run over to the fish swimming in the water, they're so colorful!  "CatNap come here, look!", I shouted excitedly while pointing at the fish. CatNap gets up and looks at the fish swimming, he smiles, "They look very pretty". "Yeah they have every color of the rainbow!", I barked. After looking at the fish for a few minutes we both went over and sat side by side on the bench to take a break. 

We sit there not saying anything for a few minutes. I look over at CatNap and see that he's slowly drifting off to sleep. I break the silence awaking CatNap, "Last night was really fun huh CatNap!", I barked. "Yeah", he agreed. "I would say my favorite part was eating the delicious food everyone made!", I barked sticking my tongue out. "My favorite part was sleeping", CatNap yawned, "I had a good dream". "Awesome! What did you dream about?". "I dreamt that I was in a world made of pillows", he replied. "Awesome, I bet that dream was so relaxing!", I cheerfully said.  "What did you dream about DogDay?", CatNap asked. I suddenly tense up and feel my face blush. If I had a mirror and could see myself, I would look as red as a tomato. "My dream...?", I asked. "Yeah what did you dream about?". I don't say anything in response and just stare at the water. CatNap turns his head towards me, "Are you okay DogDay?", he asked raising one of his eyebrows. Suddenly he places his paw on my forehead, "You feel very warm. Do you have a fever?", he asked concerned and more awake. I look at the ground nervously, "Oh I-I... I'm fine", I stuttered while rubbing my arm. I feel CatNap remove his hand, "DogDay... are you making fun of me or trying to play a joke on me?", CatNap asked a little hurt in a serious tone. I immediately look up and see CatNaps face a little teared up. "What?", I ask in disbelief. CatNap looks down at the ground, "Everytime you and I are alone together you act very strange and jittery but when we're with the others you act so differently", he mumbles. "Are you trying to play some sort of joke or something on me? Because if you are it's not funny", he mumbles. I am completely shocked, "I....I", I stutter not saying anything else. What am I doing?, I thought to myself. "I understand", CatNap says not looking at me. He immediately gets up and heads back towards the path to Critter Village. I need to tell him!, I thought to myself. I get up and turn around "CatNap wait..!", I cried. But it's too late...he's gone.
