~The Moon Will Sing~ Ni-ki x Reader

Asuka POV-

I woke up in Hyunjin's bed. My eyes sore from crying so much. He's not in the bed with me. He slept on the couch so I could take over the bed. I appreciate that.

I walk over to the bathroom and look at myself. You can't really tell I was crying which is a good thing. I walk out and accidentally bump into Jeongin

"Oh sorry- Asuka? What're you doing here?! It's like 7 in the morning" he asks

"I got sick so I stayed the night"

"Sick? Are you ok? Do you need a doctor?"

"Nah I'm fine. Just some bad street Kimchi. I feel 100% now" I smile

"Ok that's good" he pats my head and walks into the kitchen to grab a drink

I walk into the living room and see a sleeping Hyunjin on the couch. I walk over to him and nudge him. He squirms for a second until I full blow shove him causing his eyes to snap open

"Huh? What?" He sallows then says, "Asuka? What's wrong?"

"Can you take me home? I want to shower and change and get ready for the group hang out"

He nods his head and says, "y-yea. Just give me a second to get ready"

"Ok"

I sit on another couch so he can use his room to get ready. He climbs out of the couch and sheepishly walks into his room. After a while he's finally ready and motions me to walk out the door with him. I get up and walk out with him. We silently walk outside to his car and start driving.

"How'd ya sleep?" He asks

"Actually... pretty good. Your bed is comfy"

"I know right"

"How about you?"

"Well the couch isn't exactly the most comfortable but I managed. 6/10."

"At least you got decent sleep"

"Yea..."

We stay silent for a moment until he speaks up

"How you feeling?"

"Heartbroken but I've been preparing myself for it so it's that bad"

"I'm sorry"

"Don't be. It's for the best"

He pauses before saying, "you'll always be my best friend"

"And you'll always be mine"

He frowns and I go, "enough with the frowns. So we got heartbroken. At least we still have each other! I'm not going any where man" I smile at him hoping to raise his spirits

He smiles and chuckles, "yea you're right. You'll always be my Kiddo"

"That's right"

We begin talking like normal and honestly it feels like nothing happened. My chest hurts but it's not uncomfortable. I can manage. I can move on. I have closure and I was able to keep my best friend. I can do this

We make it to the penthouse and he drops me off. He walks me to the door and hugs me. He kisses my forehead and says, "hurry and get dressed. Me and the guys will pick you up in 2 hours"

"Got it!"

I rush inside and quickly go upstairs to where me and the girls are staying. I open the door and immediately I'm ambushed by the girls

"Where have you been!?!" Kimi cries

"We were worried sick!" Ji-yoo says

"You could've texted one of us!!" Julie yells
