Consequences (Stan x Kyle)

Stan's pov

  After talking to Tolkien yesterday, I decided I needed to break up with Wendy, so I went to her house.

  "Hey Stan!" She smiled once she opened the door.

  "Hey...um, I need to talk to you."  I told her.

  "Okay, come in." she said, leading me to her couch.

"So uh...I don't really know how to say this.." I tried, "I just...I don't think we're right for each other."

  She was quiet for a moment, like she was thinking of what to say.

  "I think I know what's going on." She said.

  "What do you mean?" I asked her.

  "Stan, I think you're gay."

I felt my face get super hot.

"N-no I'm not!" I quickly said, even though I know it's true.

  "It just makes a lot of sense," she began, "like, you don't seem to enjoy some of the things we do, and whenever we do anything you don't get...you know...and.... I see the way you always look at Kyle..."

My face couldn't get any hotter. I don't really think I can deny it.

  "Please don't tell anyone." I said to her.

  "I won't say anything," she told me, "come out when you're ready and on your own terms. Just know you'll have my full support."

  "Thank you." I gave her a small smile.

I think I know what I should do now.

Kyle's pov

There was a knock on my door Sunday afternoon, and I was both surprised and annoyed when I saw who it was.

"Uh, hey Kyle." Stan gave me small smile.

  "What do you want?" I asked harshly.

  "Well um...Wendy and I broke up." He told me.

  "Okay?" I asked, "What do you want me to say? Sorry? Good for you?"

  "I mean, I did it for you," Stan said, "I want to be with you."

  I sighed, "You missed your chance."

  "What do you mean?" He asked.

  "Did you really think I was gonna sit around and wait for you?" I rolled my eyes.

  Just as I said that, Alex walked up to me.

  "I gotta get going," he said to me, before turning to Stan, "who's this?"

"Just a guy I go to school with." I told him.

"Alright, I'll call you after work babe." He said, quickly kissing my cheek and walking to his car.

"Who the fuck is that?" Stan asked, once Alex left.

"Alex, my boyfriend." I told him.

"Since when do you have a boyfriend?" He asked.

"Since yesterday." I said.

"I thought.... I thought you wanted to be with me...."

"I did Stan," I started, "but then you said everything we did meant nothing."

"It...it meant everything..." Stan said sadly.

"It's too late for that," I began, " bye Stan."

I closed the door in his face, but I didn't know how to feel.

  Alex said he wanted to be my boyfriend when were hanging out yesterday, and I accepted. I do like Alex, but I also still like Stan.
