Cryptor seemed to be in a worse mood than usual.

"What." I asked as he moped about.

"Pythor." He responded half-heartedly. "Crystal Council."

"Ah."

"We need to infiltrate them. The council." Cryptor decided. "You're coming too."

"uh.. okay..." I said. there wasn't much to it. what else was I supposed to say?

"Here. I had a Drone place a tracker on Pythor last night. I have his location." He said, passing me a circle.

"Is this it??" I asked.

"No. That's a cloaking device. put it on, we're spying on them." He said. "We'll look like those crystal spiders."

I put one one my arm, and I saw my own body disappear. In front of me were two spider claws.

"Oh my gosh, you're like a little turtle, except you're a spider!" He laughed.

"It doesn't feel like I'm smaller." I said, taking the disk off. "When do we go?"

"Why not... now." Cypher grinned. "Let's see what this 'council' is all about..."

Me and Mr. E were able to infiltrate their base, we followed the masked figure until we saw them walk into a closed room. They took off their mask and revealed their face. Some girl with white hair.

'Harumi'. Mr. E signed. 'I guess she's still alive.'

'Old boss?' I replied.

'Yes.'

We watched as she put the mask back on and kept walking, we followed her into their meeting room, I took a look at everyone seated.

Aspheera, no surprise there...

Pythor, unfortunately.

This masked guy with wings, definitely the circus freak.

This purple biker guy, I could be sitting there right now...

And two empty seats.

No one paid any mind to us, to them, we were just two spiders. I was able to see Mr. E now that i also had the disk on. He-...

He's breathing hastily, hyperventilating maybe.

I can't look away. What on earth is he looking at?

I nudged him.

"What the hell is wrong with you..?" I hissed.

He didn't respond, I grabbed him my the arm and shook him.

"What?!" I repeated. He shook his head.

"She-... look at him!" He said, pointing at the biker. "I-... he looks just like me! But... different. Did she-... replace me?"

"Oh come on, that's just a guy with a biker helmet, get over yourself." I said. "And he's pink, not red."

He began to shut up, but he didn't look sure.

"Right. Departed realm, I'm so paranoid." He muttered. "That's probably some guy."

I looked around at the group a bit.

"Chances are, he's a snake under that helmet." I laughed.

He didn't laugh.
