The Pros: Those Above Us

The moonlight shined in the ever looming sky. A storm was raging on while the pros lay in bed sleeping. The eerie atmosphere carried mysteries with it. No storm was forecasted to be today. Something was up. Something big. A giant beam shot into the ground. Followed by an anchor looking thing. The night of September fifth. A day was left until disaster. The ship could be seen from the atmosphere many ships were flying down. The noise awoke Joseph. "What is going on!" He shouted. He looked at his phone. Quarter to midnight on September fifth. Joseph instantly found out the noise. "Its time I get rid of these Twats!" He put on his suit and ran outside. "Suit activate ultimate mode" The Anglers staff outreached from the back of his helmet. His suits eyes electrified the pupils fading away. "Lets end this bullshit once and for all" "Lets kill that bitch" The front door swung open. "What are you doing out this late Joe?" Josie came outside in her nightgown and wearing my little pony slippers. Joseph pointed up to the massive ship headed for their planet. "Its your birthday!" Josie shouted. "Sadly, Yeah" He replied "Why sadly?" She queried. "Every year I age with the knowledge that I may die within this age or the next" Joseph replied with his opinion on growing up. "That is just overdramatic" Josie stated. "Josie there is no point in a birthday face it I have got no parents left I am basically an orphan!" Joseph shouted. "you can celebrate it with us you sadistic asshole!" Josie shouted. "If I'm so sadistic why am I nearly killing myself to protect you and my brother!" He replied. "This shadow, Which is here because I wanted to save you two, Is hanging around my neck right now like a noose" "Do you know what?" Josie looked at him confused after his last phrase. "Badge R activate suit immobilisation protocol" His words were given with a dark tone. Josie's badge began to shut down. "Now you can't get harmed simple" He said. "Fine Joe have it your way" She turned around and went back inside. Her spirits of getting her cousin back was hopeless or was it. Joseph turned towards the ship. He pushed off of the ground and launched towards the giant futuristic spaceship growing nearer with each second. UFO's headed his way ready to capture him. He punched each one with force ripping out an engine core. Joseph absorbed its light. It seeped into his badge. "New element found!" "Condition at this moment unusable" It alerted. "I'll come back to that later" He said his focus unaltered. His determination filled with rage. He bolted closer to the ship latching on to the bottom of it. He looked down. "If I don't make it back.." "I love you both" He broke the ship open and clambered on inside.

Josie was in the house with James. "So let me get this straight" "Joseph rushes outside, He wakes you up, you follow him, Then you argue with him and he disables your badge?" James pieced her story together. "Basically yes" Josie followed up. "You understand me though, We have got to get up there!" "Josie no!, for once I agree with my brother" James replied. This shocked Josie. James never agreed with Joseph. "The Fuck!" Josie shouted back astonished. "Josie if you go up there with Joe and you get in his way.." James stopped. "He might kill you" James said seriously. "Do I care James I'm going up there" Josie turned around and went to go upstairs. "Josie if you die Joseph will reverse time and become full shadow forever!" James shouted. "It is a risk we will have to take" James followed her upstairs. The two entered Josephs room. They were greeted to a surprising tidy aesthetic. "How is it this clean?" James asked. Josie ignored him and went to look in his back. She put her hand in and grabbed something. "What the fuck did I just grab!" Josie pulled the object out. Josie was about to throw up. It was the reason Joseph asked them to stay out his back. "This is from the movie night, Leah mentioned him finding a device he made while he was drunk" James said "Theres a sticky note on it but lets be real that is sticky cause of this" Josie said feeling even more sick. "The Multi-use sex toy" She read. "Wait a second?" Josie paused. "Me and star used this on that night" She recalled. "Oh thank god this wasn't used by Joseph and Leah. She said in relief. "Anyway I'm getting carried away" she said turning back towards the bag and looked in it. She pulled out something. It was a badge. Leah's Badge prototype, a post it note stuck to it read. "I guess I could use this." "Face scan needed" It said. Josie scanned her face. The badge's interface swirled around and turned red. "Welcome back Punk Rocket" it said. "I'm coming Joe" "whether you like it or not"
