AUTHOR'S POVIn the confines of their opulent bedroom, Vidhyukta stood before the vanity, her nimble fingers meticulously guiding a silver-backed brush through her long, flowing hair. The soft bristles caressed each silken strand, untangling knots and imparting a lustrous sheen. Her reflection in the mirror revealed a woman of ethereal beauty, her face framed by delicate features and a radiant glow.
Unbeknownst to Vidhyukta, her husband, Rudra, stood silently in the doorway, his rugged features softened by an expression of unspoken admiration. His deep-set eyes, reminiscent of an ancient forest, followed her every graceful movement, drinking in the sight of her unblemished skin and the gentle fluttering of her raven-black lashes.
"Haye mein vaari jaavan" Rudra whispered softly, not in his sane side of mind.
Unbeknownst to her, she was not alone. Standing sentinel at the threshold, Rudra watched her every move with an intensity that sent shivers down his spine. He had entered her boudoir moments ago and was instantly captivated by her beauty. Leaning nonchalantly against the doorframe, his arms crossed over his broad chest, he observed her from afar, his piercing gaze drinking in her every nuance.
Vidhyukta wore a resplendent silk saree, the vibrant hues of its intricate embroidery dancing in the soft light. The sareee, a masterpiece of craftsmanship, clung to her curvaceous figure.
He looked at her as she lifted her phone up in her hands while she typed something or more like searched something on it.
And then the sound of the music came...
(I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS SONG)
Keshiya bhi jhaar leni
pehnleni saari
Lali lagay leni
rupwa sawari
Keshiya bhi jhaar leni
pehnleni saari
Lali lagay leni
rupwa sawariShe moved along the beats making rudra choke on the thin air. He looked at her wide eyed.
Ego hotatay pheechwa
se chuk rajaji
Ego hotatay pheechwa
se chuk rajaji
Lagai dihin cholia
ke huk raja ji
Lagai dihin cholia
ke huk raja jiRudra's gaze settled on the unhooked blouse. A mischievous glint appeared in his eyes. He cleared his throat.
A moment of distraction caused Vidhyukta to glance away from her reflection, her eyes meeting Rudra's in the mirror. Time seemed to stand still as their gazes locked, an unspoken current of longing and desire coursing between them. A soft gasp escaped Vidhyukta's lips as the realization dawned upon her that she was not alone.
He stepped towards her, her eyes meeting Rudra's in the mirror. he leaned forward and gently tied the Dorri's of the delicate clasps into place. All the while not breaking the eye contact. His fingers lingered on her skin for a moment longer than necessary, sending a shiver of anticipation down her spine.
Vidhyukta's heart pounded in her chest, her cheeks flushed with a mixture of embarrassment and anticipation. She averted her gaze, her fingers trembling slightly and she lost the comb that slipped out of her hands, and fell down creating a noise making Rudra flinch, and caused the both of them to come back to reality.
"Murkh aadmi, knock karke nahi aa sakte the !?!?" Vidhyukta yelled at him.
(Tr: You idiot man, couldn't you knock?)
