"Team, come in! We need backup!"
Shiro's panicked voice immediately got our attention. "Shiro?" Allura exclaimed.
"Where is everyone?" he urged over the comms.
"Huh? What's happening?" I walked over to Allura. Keith joined. Suddenly the surface began rumbling once more, this time too loud to miss. We instinctively looked up at the sky to see the spacecraft gaining speed, coming closer to the surface by the second.
"Oh, no." Keith remarked. "We gotta get to our Lions!"
The Arusians, who had noticed the obvious threat, began running wildly for safety and chaos ensued.
"Everyone get inside and stay down!" Allura ordered in hopes of calming them down. Hunk took his chance.
"On it!"
I looked at him in bewilderment, "Huh?! Get back here!" I darted over and pulled him back. His shoulder sagged in defeat, making me laugh despite the situation. As the spacecraft edged closer to Arus, the paladins raced to their lions to aid Shiro while Allura and I saw to it that the Arusians were safe. Which, as you can imagine, did not go very smoothly.
"There's still a few Arusians over there!"
"Then go get them!" she hissed.
"I'm busy patching up this guy!" I retorted, gesturing towards a young Arusian who had tripped and twisted his ankle.
"Well I'm busy keeping everyone calm, which you wouldn't be able to do, so unless you want everything to become utter chaos, I suggest you go find those Arusians!"
"I can keep people calm!" I stood up, trying to make a point, and cleared my throat. "Everyone, do not worry, we will keep you safe," the Arusians quietened and I sent a smug smirk toward Allura. "I am completely positive that Voltron will defeat it very very soon! Probably. Unless Lance tries kicking again." After a brief moment of silence, the poor Arusians started screaming again, which I guess I can't blame them for. Allura raised an eyebrow, and I scowled, making my way towards the exit already.

Inside the Castle of Lions, the former Galra prisoners prepared to leave in a flight pod. Shiro and Pidge were nowhere to be found, but we figured they had already said their goodbyes. The fight with the gladiator had been, well, questionable to say the least, but in the end Voltron was victorious.
Lance waved. "Good luck out there."
"Yeah, be careful," I added.
The tall grey one, who was apparently called Xi, nodded in response. "Thank you all for everything. We never dreamed we'd see our families again. But you gave us hope," he smiled, "You gave the universe hope."
We smiled, waving goodbye as they left.
The next day Allura announced that the Arusians were coming over to celebrate Voltron's victory for the evening. Everyone's in high spirits. I put on the usual and went into the hall to check everything out, and it seemed the Arusians were putting on a little play for us.
"The monster fell from the sky! It was an epic battle, but Voltron was victorious!" the king announced. But in a funny error, the villagers playing Voltron tripped and fell instead of the villagers playing the beast. The king peeked through an eye and noticed.
"No, I said Voltron was victorious!"
Getting it right this time, the audience cheered in delight.
"Thank you, Your Majesty, for that..." Allura hesitated, "wonderful production. It saddens me that we must leave tomorrow, but we must continue our battle with Zarkon and spread peace throughout the universe."
