Found you || yoonmin

The place jimin chose was an Italian restaurant, ambience is totally cute and calming. Seems like it's only been days since they opened.

Surprisingly with the given circumstances Jimin was all giggly throughout their dining. Yoongi tried to tell him it's okay he doesn't have to pretend like he's excited. He understands.

Meanwhile jimin made sure to give all his attention to yoongi but yoongi seemed a bit distracted. It doesn't matter he just wants to give the best from his side. To make yoongi happy how much ever he can.

They ordered lasagna, pasta carbonara and some mushroom risotto as well. All the dishes tasted amazing and authentic. Jimin kept moaning with every bite while yoongi just smiled at him.

Lastly they enjoyed the best Tiramisu, Italian dessert.

They were so satisfied with the dishes and praised the cooks as well. Since it was a treat to repay yoongi, jimin was stern on paying for the food he didn't even let yoongi speak and excused himself to restroom and paid the bill.

They were on the way back to jimin's dorm happily walking with full tummies and tastes still lingering in his taste buds.

Jimin was worried when he first thought about this place since he never had Italian cuisine and the restaurant was new as well so there weren't much reviews.

But he was stubborn wanting yoongi to have a different experience with him. Yoongi seemed to like the food as well especially their lasagna.

It is breezy and dark mostly since there's just a crescent moon in the sky. Jimin let's his hand fall on the sides intentionally brushing with yoongi's, letting his greedy self desire to hold those hand.

But yoongi seemed to be deeply thinking "You didn't like the food?" Jimin asks doubtfully.

Yoongi clears his throat looking away. "No no it was good." He saying plastering a smile on his face trying to be convincing.

To be honest it was weird for yoongi. Almost all the time he kept trying to figure out if jimin was upset and pretending in front of himself. The bad part is he still doesn't know. Jimin must be a great actor. He thinks.

"You seem distracted. You didn't like going there with me?" Jimin asks slightly sulking. Yoongi didn't enjoy his company? Was yoongi thinking about something else all this time? He wonders.

"What? No jimin ah. It's not that." He sighs how could jimin think something like that. He would totally love to spend all his time even in a dessert if he has jimin by his side. " I am tired I guess. I am unable to think anything else other than the tournament." He lies.

He wants jimin to talk to him. If jimin was comfortable he would have told him how affected he is by today's event. How upset he is. But he didn't. And it hurts yoongi. Maybe he's trying to process it he convinces himself.

"Ahh. I get it." Jimin seems to buy his lie and offers him a comforting smile.

Yoongi is grateful for the darkness else jimin might have figured something is wrong just by his distraught expression.

Both of them were occupied by their thoughts they didn't realise that they are already in front of jimin's dorm.

Jimin doesn't want to part ways. Not yet. He just stands there facing yoongi who looks awkward as hell. The urge to get close him is driving him crazy. He wants something.

"I totally enjoyed today. Thank you." Yoongi smiles genuinely.

Jimin blushes and thanks the universe for the darkness. "It's no biggie. I just wanted to show my gratitude for helping me out that day." He says smiling as well.

Yoongi hums and clears his throat. "Jimin ah." He calls "If anything is bothering you, you can talk to me okay. Like about anything. You can call me. I don't mind." He tries to be as subtle he can.

Jimin looks at him intently and smiles knowing yoongi cares about him. Yoongi doesn't like calls yet he wants jimin to call him whenever needed. It buzzes his skin leaving a tingly feeling..

He smiles the biggest "sure hyung don't worry."

Yoongi smiles lightly "You should go inside and rest. It must be exhausting for you today." Pretending like you are happy.

Before yoongi can leave "Hyung." Jimin calls him gently.
Yoongi stops and turns to look at him.

Without thinking jimin surges forward to kiss his cheek only to be met with rejection.

Yoongi quickly step back and looks down.

They both stand in silence for a minute.

"You don't like me?" Jimin asks his voice breaks, looking down tears brimming in his eyes.

"Jimin ah." He calls so pained. It took everything in him to let jimin down, to step back, to reject the kiss.

Jimin just shakes his head. And asks again "you don't like me?" Still not looking at yoongi.

Jimin feels pathetic, he never regretted anything more than this. He shouldn't have thought about kissing him he really shouldn't. He shuts his eyes since his vision is getting blurred.

"I can't." Is what yoongi says instead of giving a direct answer.

Jimin is quietly whimpering, cause it hurt a lot. So much. To be rejected by yoongi.

"I can't be a rebound, jimin ah." Yoongi says finally.

Jimin looks at him with tears still in his eyes, confused what Yoongi's talking about.

And the sight truly breaks yoongi. To know he is the one making jimin cry, hurting him shatters him in pieces.

But he has to. Jimin is upset and hurt. He can't think straight now. And if he does something out of impulse he would totally regret it. And the regret will eventually become into hatred in no time. Yoongi knows.

"I am sorry." It pains him a lot to reject his only love.

"H-hyung." Jimin chokes out on his sob "I don't understand." He says truly confused.

Yoongi gulps "I saw when taemin introduced you to his soon to be girlfriend." He immediately looks down not wanting to see how hurt jimin is. "I know it must have been difficult for you. You must have been hurt. That's why I tried to postpone this hangout. You were pretending too good jimin. But I just can't unsee it. I knew you have been crushing on him for months now, it must hurt. I am sorry you have to go through this." He says leaving a dumbfounded jimin.

Jimin just gawkes at him. Did he heard him right? God what kind of misunderstanding is this.

"Hyung. You misunderstood everything. I am not upset really." He says while tears are rolling out on his cheeks. Before he finishes yoongi speaks.

"Jimin. I know you need time. I won't force you to be normal. But please don't act on impulse that you end up Regretting." You will regret kissing me jiminie. And it will torn me apart. Yoongi's mind Echoes painfully.

"You should get inside you clearly need to rest." Yoongi says stepping back to retreat.

"Hyung--" before jimin speaks.

"Why don't you understand? You will regret everything tomorrow. Please don't do this. Don't make me push you away. I can't be what you are expecting me to be now." I just want you to love me the way I do. I can't help you by being a rebound. I can't betray myself. Please "I am sorry." With that he turns quickly and walks away before jimin can see tears spilling from his eyes.

Jimin stands there looking at yoongi's retreating back weeping like a kid.

What does this mean? Yoongi doesn't like him or he doesn't want to ruin their friendship?

Never confirmed it was an happy ending right?

Also there's one chapter left, i suppose it would be longest. Should I make it two instead?
