ADELYN HAD BEEN GIVEN A STERN NO EVERY TIME SHE ASKED IF SHE COULD SEE ISAAC. The girl sat impatiently in the waiting room, curled into Allison's side. The Argent had practically begged Addy to do anything besides sit there for two days, but the werewolf adamantly refused. While Allison wished they could see Isaac, she also wished Addy would eat, sleep, or at least pretend to take care of herself. The huntress had been at the hospital on and off, having been the main person on Gamma watch. The werewolves were far more useful in the search for Stiles, but that didn't stop Scott and Derek from trying to see Isaac or convince the Tate to go home.

Allison had been sleeping for about twenty minutes when the McCalls approached to the two girls, making the werewolf wiggle slightly to wake the Argent up. Allison jerked harshly, looking at Addy with a dazed expression before noticing them.

"Have you been here all night?" The Alpha directed the question at Allison, obviously knowing the other girl's answer.

Allison adjusted the way she was sitting, forcing Adelyn to move as well. The werewolf made a noise, expressing her annoyance at the movement. "Yeah, they still won't let us see him because we're not family." The Argent's voice was laced with frustration.

"I tried to tell them that he doesn't have anyone except for us, it's like they don't care." The Tate grumbled, slouching into her chair. "Anything on Stiles?" The werewolf whispered, Scott being the only person to hear as he shook his head.

"You're right. He's got us. And I've got a keycard." Melissa mentioned proudly, holding up the key as she reached for Addy's hands. "If I let you in, you have to promise me you'll go to school."

Adelyn frowned momentarily as she allowed Melissa to pull her out of her chair, not liking the thought of not being here if her beta were to wake up. She pondered for a moment, her eyes flicking to the closed door behind Melissa, before relenting. "Deal." She agreed, her voice cracking slightly, betraying her inner turmoil.

Melissa swiped the card, the doors swinging open as the teens stared in at Isaac's seemingly lifeless form. "Be quick."

Scott went to move forward first, being stopped as Adelyn hastily laced their fingers together. Her grip was tight, almost desperate. She reached her other hand out, holding Allison's hand as well. The huntress didn't need super senses to tell her friend was panicking. The Alpha could hear the girl's heart beating erratically, making him trace patterns on her hand with his thumb as an attempt to calm her.

The three teens slowly moved in unison, standing by Isaac's side. Adelyn could hardly stand the sight of him, guilt eating at her stomach as a few tears slipped down her face.

She could not lose Isaac. The mere thought of it made her feel numb.

"I thought he'd be healing by now." Allison spoke up after a long silence, her voice trembling.
