RAY

I was happily skipping the stairs after showering. Found a coffee and toast beside me and a note from Akk saying he was just outside with the rest of our friends when I woke up. I guess he was by now used to me waking up late all the time.

What surprised me the most is that Akk didn't even attempt to take things beyond second base last night. After making out for a while, we cuddled and slept. I was very astonished to realize I didn't hate it. I know I've been pretty flippant about sleeping with whoever was available before but Akk taking things slow didn't bother me. I know he had a bad history with his ex and I need to make myself worthy of Akk. All the things I did in the past will probably come back to bite me in the ass but Akk doesn't even seem to care about it. I know he's heard of my reputation judging from the initial antagonism he had shown me.

Expecting myself to be sprinting towards him when I spotted him, I somehow felt self-conscious for the first time with everyone watching. I no longer had the excuse of teasing Akk to be all bold and forward. Still, I moved towards him, and for the first time, Akk turned towards me as I approached. A gorgeous bright smile on his face as he opened his arms for me. I shyly moved into his embrace and dropped a kiss on him. I could feel myself reden and I shyly looked into Akk's face. His cute dimples showed as he grinned and I buried my face into his chest, refusing to look him in the eye.

"What did you two do last night?" Khan perceptively queried.

"Nothing. Why?!" A blush made Akk's face pink and even more attractive.

"Ooh you could have fooled them but not us, Akk! Look at your face!" Wat decided to poke Akk's face while laughing.

"Ray! Spill! What were the two of you up to last night?" Wat is now poking me and I giggled but burrowed myself deeper into Akk's arms.

"What's happening here?" Boston joined in, his arms casually falling on Wat's shoulders.

"We're trying to find out. Look at them acting all shy," Khan replies as He goes back to sitting beside Thua.

"Why?" Boston looked confused, staring at the three best friends.

"We've never seen Akk make the move before. Ray's always been the one cuddling him but today he opened his arms when Ray came down. We just know something different happened last light," Wat told Boston.

"Why do you even ask that? Of course they fucked!" Boston declared.

"Ay Sat! Shut up!" I kicked Boston's legs while still being held in Akk's arms.

"Oh come on, Ray. Was it that good last night?" Boston decided to join in the ribbing until the girls and TopMew came outside and the subject was dropped to my utter relief.

"Akk! Please can you please cover for me? I really need to go see Jasmine, she's been threatening to break up with me if I don't go to Phuket this weekend. Just for the Friday shift Akk. Please!" My old coworker from the cafe Ken was literally following me around, begging.

"Stop following me Ken! Alright I will cover for you. Just go already," I tried shaking Ken's hand off me before Ray sees and goes psycho again like he did with that poor girl from class the other day.

It's been a couple of weeks since that out of town trip and since that night when we both admitted our feelings for each other. As expected, Ray is more deranged as a real boyfriend. He's like a Koala that clings to me all the time. One time when I gave him the ultimatum to leave me alone for a few hours or else I won't be letting him near me the rest of the day and he actually gave in but then he went all berserk on the poor girl who probably didn't know I am dating Ray. She bravely asked for my number and I must say her timing is just awful because she did so when Ray just came inside the classroom. I could have turned her down subtly but the word subtle is not in Ray's vocabulary. He went feral on the poor girl who left the classroom crying. I was going to chasten him for acting like a kid but the pout on his luscious lips and the teary eyes stopped me mid sentence. I was weak against Ray's charm.

"What's wrong with you? Are you mad at me?" Ken asked, again his hand landing on my shoulders.

I groaned with frustration when Ray's voice cut off my answer.

"He's not mad, but I am," Acid laced voice answered Ken. Like me, Ken is too busy working and going back and forth between Phuket and Bangkok to visit his girlfriend. He has probably heard of Ray but had not seen his face.

"Akk, who's this beautiful creature who looks like he's about to bite me?" Ken still ignorantly chose to whisper in my ears.

"I'm Ray, who is only going to warn you once to keep your paws off my property," as expected of the brat. I rolled my eyes.

"What?" Confused and utterly unused to Ray and his "unique" attitude, Ken remained motionless, looking both fearful and captivated by Ray's pretty face.

"I said, hands off..." Ray peeled off Ken's hand off my shoulders and was about to push him off when I stopped him.

"Ray, stop. He's a friend. He was just asking for a favor," I quietly said, pulling Ray closer to me to prevent him from doing something again.

"Well, he can ask for a favor without touching you, can't he?" Ray pulls the petulant, spoiled child look on me and I half smiled. He's such a psycho but a cute psycho nonetheless.

"Shush!" I said, laughing and he reluctantly kept his mouth shut moving to my side to cling to my arms.

"Sorry about that Ken. This is Ray, my insane boyfriend unfortunately," teasingly smiling at Ray who pouted some more hearing my words.

"He's just kidding by the way. Anyway, yeah I'll cover for you on Friday no problem. I'll see you later," I waved off Ken and pulled Ray along towards the cafeteria where I'm sure his friends and mine, who are now basically just one big group, must be waiting for us.

Aside from the fact that Ray is like a small terrier who is extremely territorial and always chasing away anyone who dares to come near me, our relationship has been great. The attention from Ray is very ego boosting. Who would have thought that someone as beautiful as him will find me attractive enough to date?

Nana is now so used to Ray and I having our meals together and then we will be in his or my room, tutoring before we either hang out watching movies, listening to music or just be talking endlessly drinking a few beers together. Ray had even taken into my preference for the beer instead of his usual whiskey. It was a time of learning so much of each other. We've fallen asleep together a couple of times already but there's one thing that we haven't done together and that's have sex.

Truth be told, the thought gives me anxiety because I know Ray has more experience in this area than me. I've only ever slept with Aye whom I lost my virginity to. I feel like I'll probably disappoint Ray with my lack of experience and I'm embarrassed to admit it to him. I know he had anticipated we'd end up doing the deed a couple of times when we got too hot and heavy but then I always ended up stopping.

I don't mind knowing Ray had slept with a lot of people. Knowing Ray's background, I know he went through a lot of things and I know how these things affect you psychologically and you end up doing stupid things. We have different ways of coping. What actually bothers me is that all those practices he had will certainly highlight my lack of it.

"Babe, is something wrong? Are you really mad because of what I did there?" Ray peered at me looking worried. "I've been calling you a couple of times" he added.

"Huh? I'm not!" I gushed, shaking off the thoughts in my head. "Sorry, just worrying about the upcoming exams," I lamely added, knowing Ray could already sense that something is not right.

"You're worrying about tests that are like weeks away? Baby I know you're a nerd but can you please choose your food first?" Ray grins, pointing towards the food selection in front of us and I answered his stupidly pretty smile with one of my own.

Sighing with relief that he seems to have bought my excuse and that my worries could be pushed off for another day. I only wished my libido could listen too, cause damn I seem to be always turned on around Ray these days and it's making me feel like a horny teenager.
