Kid's worries lessen, and he feels relief a little, as he heared Conan next words. "but i guess being around you who have ladyluck at your side kinda..well stop 'my' so-called curse, only in your heists that i feel refresh and have rest to those murder case. There's still trouble, but at least there are no murders happening around me. It's fun being part of your heists. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy solving mysteries, chasing criminals,and helping others but sometimes it becomes too much. I... I don't understand why people kill over petty things like money and jealousy," Conan said. Kid was relieved that Conan felt safe during his heists, but he also worried about him. However, before Kid could say anything, Conan stood up and headed towards the door.

"I'll be going now. Sorry for wasting your time with my useless rambling, make sure to return the juwel" Conan said, about to open the door. But Kid couldn't let him leave without saying something.

"Tantei-kun!" Kid shouted, causing Conan to stop and look back at him with a confused expression.

"I don't think, and will never think, that you are cursed. So please don't listen to whoever told you that, and it wasnt a useless rambling, and you aren't wasting my time. im truly glad that you trust me enough to share this to me. so pls, if you want someone to talk to again, im always here." Kid stated seriously. He noticed the surprise in Conan's eyes, which quickly transformed into a warm smile.

"Yeah, thanks, Kid," Conan replied before leaving, leaving Kaito still worried for his tantei-kun.

the bell rang, signaling lunch break. the students packed their belongings and stood up, they all headed to the cafeteria. Kaito who is still fixing his own belongings is thinking on how to befriend shinichi.

He had been trying to hang out with Shinichi for the pass week, but it seemed like Shinichi was always busy with cases or so he says, however...

'HE IS CLEARLY AVOIDING ME!!!'Kaito thought, he couldn't help but feel that Shinichi was avoiding him, which made him feel depressed. His mission to become friends with Shinichi and make him smile seemed to be failing.

He is still worried on what he saw during his research about shinichi that night so kaito didn't give up. Every day, he tried to get closer to Shinichi and invite him to have lunch together, but it was always unsuccessful.

Today, he noticed Shinichi staring out of the window, clearly lost in thought. Kaito decided to inform him that it was already lunchtime,and hoping they could finally eat together.

As expected, Shinichi hadn't realized that it was already lunch break since he was lost in his thoughts but in reality he really had no intention of going to the cafeteria actually. He had forgotten his wallet and didn't have much of an appetite lately in ather words he skip meals.

Kaito walked towards Shinichi, calling his name multiple times, getting louder with each repetition.

"SHINICHI!!!" Kaito shouted, causing the spaced-out detective to flinch and look at Kaito, who was smiling. However,in reality Kaito was actually feeling irritated and annoyed, though he decided to hide it behind his famous poker face, which no one at the school knew he has since he was a new transfer student.

"Do you need anything, Kur—I mean, Kaito?" Shinichi asked, and forced a small smile. But Kaito could tell it was forced, so he let out a huff and crossed his arms.
