Calla Haddock

Hiccup's pov
This is weird I mean Dad would have told me about him if he really was my uncle....right?

But if Dad would want him to be cheif than I would respect that. I got on Toothless who purred in sympathy.

"Its alright bud I'll be fine" I told him. He purred again and spread his wings. I felt something touch my cheek. I looked up to see Astrid holding my head in her hands.

"Hey its alright nothing going to happen to us" She said and got on Stormfly.

"Thanks Astrid but its not us I'm worried about" I said looking at Calla talking to Dominique.

"She can take care of herself she is our kid" Astrid said patting Stormfly. I smirked and she stuck out her tongue.

Calla and Dominique shot into the air towards the lumber yards. My eyes followed them as they landed and were cut from my veiw.

Even from here I could hear them laughing as they flew to their houses each carrying a large stack of lumber.

I shook my head and turned to Derek. "So do you want a dragon" I asked him.

"That would be nice I think a Thunderdrum would suit me best" he said thinking.

"Sure I have one in the arena" I said and motioned for him to get on Toothless behind me.

After taking him to the arena I went home to find Calla standing triumphantly near a large shed the wood no where to be seen.

She pulled Skydancer in it to find it fit perfectly with plenty of room. She put her saddle on a bar and stepped out closing the half door behind her.

I clapped and she whirled around. "Dad check it out its by Toothless and Stormfly and Cloudjumper's sheds so I didn't have to put her in the hangar" she grinned and put a woven basket full of leaves and dragonnip in the shed.

"I'm  assuming that is what Dominique was doing with that lumber" I said as I got off Toothless who went in his own shed.

She grinned again and let Skydancer out while she attached a rope to a water trough. The Hobblegrunt pulled the trough into the shed with ease.

The skinny dragon was stronger than she looked. Skydancer ate some leaves and had a drink of water before laying down on the nest of  hay Calla made.

"I have some news get the riders and their kids together and tell them to meet me here" I said.

"Alright" Calla said and grabbed the saddle off of the bar and putting it on her back strapping it and swinging onto her back.

She shot off at lightning speed towards Dominique's house. "Hiccup I don't think you should trust this Derek" I turned to see Mom standing in the window Astrid's face just visible behind hers.

Rooaarr I looked up to see nine dragons flying towards my house. "So Hiccup you wanted us" Eret asked as the others landed.

"Yeah gang I think we should send the kids away for their safety" I said looking down as they gasped.

I felt a hand on my shoulder "Hiccup's right I love you two" Snotlout said looking at Levi and Dali. When it comes to the twins he gets like this.

"So where are you sending us to exactly" Froglegs asked. "An island you'll take your dragons and wood and livestock everything you need" I told them.

They looked down and I swear they were all crying knowing what I said was true. I took out my map and looked at the islands around Berk looking for the flatest ones possible.

"You leave tomorrow pack tonight" I said and went into the house. Astrid was sobbing and Mom was crying into a handkerchief.

It's going to be hard without her here I thought as I fell into a troubled sleep.
